Overall a fine experience. The major exception is the elevator situation. The elevators are exceptionally slow AND there are not enough to adequately service the capacity of the hotel. The situation is exacerbated by the lack of space available to wait for the elevator (especially with luggage).

Wonderful staff. Chic and modern hotel. Really like it. It’s where we stay everytime we go to NY. Great location.

I arrived late at night, and although I didn’t have any argument or disagreement with the gentleman at the front desk, I was very disappointed by how unfriendly and dismissive he was. He barely looked at me, asked for my cards, handed me the keys, and simply said, “Room 1202.” There was no welcome or basic courtesy, and the interaction made me feel as though he was doing me a favor by checking me in. I felt quite uncomfortable by the experience. It was a very unfortunate way to begin my stay.

At first I was concerned about the lack of closets, but I found it didn't matter--the hooks and hangers worked just fine. Great location, great views, great restaurant, and great staff. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Also, the beds are very comfortable.
-
Not crazy about shower towels hanging next to toilet. And not much light in front of sink mirror. Needed a lot more there. Otherwise all good.
-
Nicest staff! All experiences I had were exceptional. The Chelsea location is run like clockwork.

I’ve stayed at a ton of hotels in NYC and many times they can be a toss up in terms of quality. This is up there with the best + at a reasonable price!

Amazing view

Great location. Very comfortable rooms.
-
High floors on one side of the hotel building have gorgeous city views. The air conditioning worked well, kept the room cool, but was very noisy.
-
I had to wait over 3 hours to check in to my hotel. A room was available at 8:30pm. This is crazy! All staff could say was we are sorry! This was sooo unacceptable.
-
Newly build, modern, tasteful. Everything good quality. AC is on the loud side. Room doesn't have an iron. Upon checking in were impacted by the hotel computer system that was down. It resulted in long waits and room key not working.
-
Everything felt elevated, chic, and clean overall, except for the rooms and hallways, which had a smell similar to a cheap motel. I’m not sure if it was the building itself or the type of bleach or cleaning products being used, but the scent was very strong—old, bleachy, and overwhelming. I think if they could improve the fragrance and overall scent experience, it would make the stay feel 10 times better.

The staff were all friendly and helpful and the room was clean and bright. Beds were comfortable and the shower had excellent pressure. The bed layout was particularly great (the bunk bed layout is a good space saver).

Upon arrival, the check in desk put us into a different room without telling us. We requested towels to our room since house keeping had not replaced them, they never arrived. A few days after check out, we find out that we were double charged by Hilton (not the taxes and fees, but for the booking portion that we've already paid on Expedia).

Perfect for 5 people! Great use of space

This was by far one of the best places we’ve stayed!! Very clean and people were super nice and helpful!!!
-
Clean room, friendly and helpful staff. A great patio, especially at night and good food at the restaurant. Fantastic location. Terrible elevators. So slow that I resorted to using the stairs. The elevators let this hotel down!

The location was good. I didn’t stay long enough to try the restaurant or the bar. The staff was relatively friendly. My room was not as clean as I would have liked it, seems like they didn’t really mop the floors. The best part was that the view from my room was immaculate. Best I’ve ever had in NY.

The hotel was great. The only challenge/disapointment we had was the elevator. We had to wait up to 20 min a couple times to get an elevator to the lobby from the 14th floor.
