Be prepared for a very small room. In fact, so small you only have stool instead of chair. Overall, given the location the hotel and responsive staff, I recommend staying at the Motto.

The hotel itself is gorgeous, incredibly quiet (a huge plus in New York), and in the perfect location with easy access to the subway. Everything felt modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed, making it the perfect place to come back to after exploring the city. This was a 10/10 experience from start to finish. We’ll definitely be staying here again on future trips to NYC, and we’ll be recommending Motto by Hilton Chelsea to all of our friends and family. Thank you for such a fantastic stay!

The staff was extremely friendly, from check-in to service at the bar for a glass of wine. The wait times for the elevator we inconvenient and posed issues in timing for coming and going.

Loved the MOtto. Me and 2 girlfriends stayed here as we had a friend staying in Chelsea. Room was over the top with so much room and great functionality. There was room and hooks for all of us without us bumping into each other. The 2 double beds were very comfy. We loved the attached restaurant. So fun to eat outside and watch the world go by. the food was delish too and great service. Plus they let us check in early!

This being Manhattan, it was pricey for a room so small. It's the first time I saw an in-room bathroom sink, and there was no real table or desk, nor closet, but with enough hooks on the wall. The hotel was very crowded. Desk staff were very busy but efficient. Skip the airport transfer service; although the driver was fine we had some stops on the way to Newark that added about 20 minutes to an otherwise quick and direct route.
