Hyatt Place New York / Chelsea

Overall we had a good stay and would stay here again. It was perfect for a quick 2 night stay. We had a great view one of the top floors but the room was tiny,never stayed in a tiny hotel room before. Luckily we 3 ladies only had weekender bags. If you have luggage thie room with twin sofa bed will not work for you, there's no place for luggage.

First time In NYC and this place is great! Particularly amazed by the shampoo and conditioner. Top quality!

Honestly, it’s nothing special but it’s not bad. Location is prime that’s for sure but the breakfast is terrible. Like not even worth to say you offer free breakfast, we literally couldn’t eat it and still had to end up going out to get breakfast

Great location, breakfast is good, and rooms and clean. The room was really small, the elevators slow, and the room cleaning service hours changed every day.

Great location. AWESOME FREE BREAKFAST! Elevator traffic is horrible. Add an extra 10-15 minutes in the mornings to catch an elevator.

Very clean room and location was excellent The room was not too spacious for a two double bed. The lift sometimes take too long waiting for it during rush hour. Breakfast area is too small and gets full quickly

Rooms were clean and tidy, hotel was in a convenient spot near several subways. A good place to stay if you want comfort and cleanliness. Wait times for the lifts during busy periods were really long, often we ended up taking the stairs from the 12th floor. Factor this in when checking out or if you have timed reservations to get to

Fantastic city views from our room on 44th floor and nice bar Breakfast was absolutely chaotic only open 7-9 weekdays and 7-10 weekends, nowhere near enough time or space to accommodate everyone so we only managed breakfast once and had to stand up eating. Not sure if all rooms were the same but the air conditioning was unbearably loud and apart from a small wardrobe absolutely nowhere to store any clothes at all, no drawers or anything. The location is convenient if using Penn Station to get to JFK but it’s not the nicest of areas. The hotel has barely any lobby area so just a tiny reception and then straight up the lift to your room
