We traveled with our teenaged daughter so we needed two beds. There were two double beds which made sleeping very difficult. The room had minimal space for our suitcases so we were tripping over everything and it felt claustrophobic. I understand that this is the reality of NYC but knowing this ahead of time would have made me choose different lodgings. On a positive note, they had the best pillows I have ever experienced at a hotel and helped make the small beds more comfortable. Not an awful experience and I appreciate that they did the best with limited space but would probably not stay there again.

Good location. Chelsea itself is a little gross and full of crackheads but whatever.

The hotel and staff was very friendly and helpful. They were generous in giving 2- guests out of our 3- guests in the room, nice snacks gift bags. They keep plenty of iced cold water in the lobby all day. The only thing I disliked about this hotel, is that they don’t have refrigerators, microwaves or ice in their rooms, nor ice machines on the floors. They don’t even have microwaves in their rooms restaurant area, for you to at least warm up your food. The worker has to take your food into the back kitchen and warm it up for you. I looked for him and couldn’t even see him. He could’ve spit in my food or anything. I just prayed over my food, but that’s not not good service for your hotel guests at all, in my opinion.

Our reservation was not fulfilled. Our room with double beds was not available when we arrived, we were told it would be available the next day and was not. We had to be moving our luggage in and out of different rooms because they kept telling us our room would be ready and it never was. We had to stay in two different rooms and not even on the same floor. The staff was not willing to help, they just kept blaming everyone and simply said "there is nothing we can do" Horrible experience and customer service.

International Hotel Groups really has its act together. This is a Holiday Inn.... so you know what you're getting. Bare Basics. Which they do VERY well here. Excellent, pleasant, helpful staff Clean comfortable rooms. QUIET room! a blessing in NYC. I Slept really well. Well equiped rooms. all the travel ammenities that one might need- iron. ironing board. safe. hair drier.. Ample desk space. Spacious enough rooms. didn't feel cramped. Great location. (Try 'Bazar' Tapas just down the street.)

Great location and comfy beds.

The room was clean but basic. There are only two elevators so if getting to your room is important I would stay on a lower floor. It’s a no frills hotel but for the price it was definitely acceptable.

Great stay overall! The staff was amazing from check-in to check-out. everyone was super friendly and helpful. The hotel and rooms were clean, the facilities were good, and the location was convenient, about a 20-minute walk to Times Square. The only downside was that the bed was a bit too firm and make it uncomfortable for us to sleep. everything else was excellent.

Great location in Chelsea, walkable to most everything. 2 Blocks from Broadway. Accessible from the port authority bus terminals within a 25minute walk. Rooms are comfortable with everthing you need in a cozy space. On the same block with Crompton Ale House (a local fave).

Parking across the street was very convenient

Super friendly staff, however we experienced broken coffee machine and badly stained pillows that needed to be replaced right away.

The front desk staff that worked the 5pm shift yesterday were an awesome bunch of ladies! When me and my friend checked in they made us laugh and was very nice! Gold Stars for all of them. I will definitely stay there again.

Well we stayed high up in the hotel but there wasn't much of a view just other buildings but it was nice. The bed was very comfortable and very clean. The elevator wait was a bit long but overall it was a pleasant stay. There was an issue with my card upon checking in. My credit card it valid and I definitely had more than enough cash but for some reason the card swiping machine registered "decline." After 2 attempts I was immediately asked if I have another card which my response was no this card works. I felt as though there is a scam involved because myself and another guest with the same card had the same issue. They were in front and became very irate for something and then as I went to check-in I fully understood why. They front desk staff including the manager I guess were unhelpful and confused. Too many of them at the front desk one I assumed in training and 3 helping check-in plus the manager all looking confused and clueless. The manager then disappeared not to return or help. They all were trained to allow you to swipe your card if it doesnt work they immediately ask if you have another card. My opinion additional charges could be added because no other establishment would immediately suggestion to use another card right after 1 swipe. Then I was offered a gift bag after payment was settled and the key was received. EXTREME POOR FRONT DESK SERVICE.

I booked through booking.com which said they had 2 double beds available and I got to the hotel and they only had king bed and it was myself and male coworker and so we couldn't stay there and had to stay somewhere else and still got charged and both booking.com and holiday inn have been super rude and not helpful to give my my refund back as I shouldn't of been charged I did not stay here and still got charged and it's been a mess to get a refund and still have not received it even though I didn't stay there. The worst experience I've had with booking.com and at the holiday inn! I booked through booking.com which said they had 2 double beds available and I got to the hotel and they only had king bed and it was myself and male coworker and so we couldn't stay there and had to stay somewhere else and still got charged and both booking.com and holiday inn have been super rude and not helpful to give my my refund back as I shouldn't of been charged
