This Aloft in Chelsea is in such a great location that I stay here every visit to Manhattan. It is in a lovely neighborhood and has great access to all the subway lines. The hotel itself is always clean and the staff are always friendly. There are no meals served in this hotel, but there is an evening bar and 24-hour togo snack station. I love the outside seating area and always feel safe here.

This property was very underwhelming, it’s not as luxurious as it looks in photos, I expected it to be nicer & as advertised, room had a musty smell to it.

I wish they switch to a pump-bottle hand soap instead of the tiny slab that kept on getting vacuum stuck to the holder.

The hotel is located in a perfect spot for my needs, room was very nice and had an amazing view. The hotel staff was not very accommodating. Cleaning services were not good to say the least (although the room was generally clean). Elevators were really slow and insufficient.

The room was clean and modern, with a comfy bed and a good location on the block with all of the plant stores. Spending almost $500/night for a small basic room feels steep, even for New York. They also were BLASTING the most intense perfume smell I’ve ever smelled in the front lobby.
