Cambria Hotel New York - Chelsea

Staff was great, room was a good size and clean but most important, the bed was very comfortable. The weight room was dated but sufficient. The blinds were a little difficult to work and worn or stained. Couldn't quite tell.

Very good-sized rooms, and the air conditioning worked well. They were generally clean, although some of the furniture was a bit worn. Location is very good for meetings in Manhattan. Breakfast facilities would have been nice, along with a better reception so we could meet people.

Yet, the staff was extremely friendly and the rooms were clean.

Coffee pot didn’t work, we got a replacement which didn’t work so the sent up a technician who worked on it and got it to work but next day still didn’t work. This unit was noticeably broken when we arrived as the top would not shut. Reported it one last time to no avail. We were on 10th floor and got no cold water till day three. The bathroom sink would not drain. The refrigerator did not work upon arrival it was replaced promptly. We paid a premium price for this room and it was far away from being comparable for the cost

Clean and the bed was very comfortable. Wish it had meal facilities or options.

The room was not nice - especially for this price. Furniture was old, chipped, just not up to par all around.

There was construction nearby from midnight to 2am nearby. Is there anything the local hotels can do about this? Is it even allowed in the middle of the night?

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, great gym, plenty of closet and drawer space, neat rooftop, quiet A/C. Convenient location near subway and several bus routes. Pillows were not great, but staff provided me with a few more right away when requested.

Location is on the edge of Chelsea and Koreatown/Empire State Building. 5 minutes away from Penn Station and other major subway hubs. Daily housekeeping. Always available via both texts and calls. Room has a fridge, a microwave, a coffee machine, iron board, closet, lots of towels. The bathroom: The showerhead is not detachable or moveable, making it very hard to clean the bathroom floor, so the bathroom quickly grows a mildew smell overnight. And although it is a standard size in Manhattan, the bathroom door opens small enough to almost touch the toilet seat, so it requires a specific choreography to step in and out of the bathroom. The 28th street is also the wholesales flower street of NYC, so it is always loud even at night.

Jonathan at the front desk was very kind and very helpful. The location was perfect especially if you're going to a show at Madison Square Garden. The beds were very comfortable, and the rooftop terrace was great! We had an overall amazing time. Thank you Cambria Hotel! It's really not a big deal but the cleaning crew brought fresh towels to our room but forgot to remove the dirty towels.

Recently refurbished rooms that are compact but functional. Very quiet. Great location - easy to walk or catch subway most places.

Cold water in dispenser in lobby was not available in the morning (had to go ti basement gym). Cold water was only available in the evening for bottle refills. Complementary coffee should have been available for longer in the morning. Beautiful area.
