All the staff were friendly and the rooms were clean. Housekeeping came everyday and did a good job. Good location with an easy walk to Amtrak at Moynihan Train Station. The only problem with this hotel was that there only 2 elevators for a 27 story building. We were on the fifth floor and used the steps most of the time, otherwise so much time wasted when coming and going. I would stay here again but would only stay 5-6th floor so I could take the steps.

The room is a lot smaller than it seems online. The restroom is very small the shower takes over most of it. Barely any space to have your luggage within the room. Also the elevators are very slow. The same ones are used for the employee to get to floor to floor. Only good thing was the free cookies and free water. We only had 3 luggage's and had to figure out how to place everything. Room is quiet but overall not maintained well.

Great find!! The hotel was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The fitness center was functional. I'd read that the location was great. I'd say the location is OK. It's not as central as I might have liked, but really is only a short walk from things. The amenities for the price is a great value.

I loved my stay room was amazing

We got an early check in which was nice, and they held our luggage after we checked out. They recommended a parking garage across the street and provided a hotel discount on the daily parking fee. Good location with easy access to bus/subway transportation.

A very special thank you to Ismael, the bellman, who went above and beyond throughout our entire stay. He was consistently friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. Whether it was assisting with our luggage, offering directions, or simply greeting us with a warm smile each day, Ismael made a lasting impression and truly enhanced our experience. His outstanding customer service is exactly what hospitality should be. Thank you, Ismael, and the entire team at DoubleTree by Hilton Chelsea, for making our trip so enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting New York City!

I was there for four days and the elevators were down every single day. The phone in the room wasn’t working and no fridge when it’s 90 degrees outside. Wouldn’t book again it had too many problems

The staff was very kind and welcoming. We were greeted at the front desk with ice cold lemon water and fresh warm cookies! The hotel was clean the room was clean and cool and had a great view. We were very happy.

Each team member from the front desk, guest services, and concierge were welcoming, knowledgeable, and lead with a smile daily. I’d definitely stay at the property again.

We were given hotel cookies, but had to throw them out due to a nut allergy (didn't realize double tree's courtsey cookies had walnuts in them)... my niece in the room cannot have nuts... found someone cleaning a room down the hall to dispose of it. Noticed another option at checkout. Someone brought 1 bottle of water to the room... two would have been nice. Also, refrigerator was not working, so drinks did not stay cold. Overall enjoyed hotel stay.

The housekeeping staff were polite and did a good job at ensuring the room is cleaned. I would definitely consider staying again at this hotel during my next visit.

The room and bathroom were clean but very crowded. A fold up suitcase rack was in the closet, but there was not a convenient place to set it up. The coffee maker in the room leaked. The bathroom shower had a curtain that was not long enough and water got all over the floor. The towel rack by the sink is positioned so that a small hand towel hung into the sink. I left my room at 10:45 for an 11 am check out and waited over half an hour for the elevator.

The staff was super friendly… thanks to Diego and Ismael,if you plan to go to NY I’ll recommend to stay here ask for them

This place isn’t bad but it’s not amazing either. I came here in a pinch so I wasn’t expecting fireworks. One of the elevators were down the first day I was here and I was only here for two days. And they’re so slow that everyone is packed on their like sardine. It took me over 20 minutes to be able to get down the elevator to check out. The staff is friendly and helpful. I was able to get everything I needed done and it’s a convenient location.
