Beautiful older building with hotel rooms sprinkled among apartments. Low key, old school luxury. Twice daily housekeeping, large rooms. Beautiful park views.

Step back to a time of classic elegance that once was New York. This is one of the most beautiful hotels at the best location in all of New York City. When I take my morning walk in Central Park, I truly feel like a Local. With the Hotel‘s restaurant being Cipriani‘s, dining is also at the highest level. This has become the only hotel that I stay at when visiting New York City.

Such warmth from all staff. Room was large for nyc standards and bed was amazing. Lots of little touches. Would gladly stay again and price point was way lower than the plaza across the street where I have stayed plenty - would choose sherry n over it any day. Thanks!!!

The Sherry is a great hotel in a wonderful location. Staff is extremely friendly. We'd leave in the morning to go for breakfast and place the room service sign on the door. When we'd return an hour or so latter, the room had been cleaned and made up. Wonderful service including personal touches. Hand-written notes, welcoming gift and fresh flowers. A wonderful stay.

I liked the staff, the common areas, the room, and the location. Harry Cipriani restaurant was outstanding. I would not hesitate to visit the Sherry-Netherland again. Nothing comes to mind.

The Sherry Netherland is a gorgeous hotel in the best location….corner of 59th and 5th right across from Central Park. The staff are so friendly, helpful and professional. They felt like family. The rooms are large and well decorated. Beds are so comfy! They provide all coffee, water, newspapers that you’d like. Fresh flowers and chocolate are there when you check in. Great fitness room. Just the best!

Location was great. Scaffolding on the external facade. Apartment block really & restaurant staff not that friendly when we wanted to get a drink.
