Nice old world hotel. Our suite was comfortable and quiet which was welcomed in a very central location Some updates here and there needed. They tried to charge us ($50/night) for our son’s bed despite booking confirming his stay was included. Double tipping at breakfast so even if you have “free breakfast or breakfast included” you will be charged extra. It felt like any opportunity to charge us was taken.

Historically elegant! But food was ridiculously expensive. $120 for 2 people to eat breakfast, a small 2 egg breakfast with literally 1 slice of bacon
-
Classic old world kept clean and fresh with impeccable service. Not stuffy….but men cannot wear shorts/athletic apparel to breakfast, if that sort of thing turns you off, I’d say this isn’t for you.
-
Way over priced Mini bar was WAY over priced
-
Had breakfast on site at the restaurant. Ordered the ham and cheese omelette which had very little ham and I could not find evidence of any cheese in the omelette. Service was good, but the food was marginal at best and outrageously priced. It would not choose to eat there again.

The hotel has a great staff including housekeeping, the engineers and the breakfast waiters. The hotel exudes old fashion elegance and offers a quiet but centrally located retreat at a more deliberate pace. Care and personal service replace a high speed tech driven pace. Breakfast tends to be busy at peak hours. My room was quite large with a tub and separate shower and roomy closet. Coffee service is available on request as is a bathrobe.
