The hotel is a fun idea but staff are quite unpleasant and getting to it takes longer than just walking out to a taxi and driving to a different airport hotel. It's not very convenient to get to. The rooms are tiny and it's expensive for what you get.

Loved this place and recommend as the history is amazing and the views are speechless, especially from the pool. Only downfall is that it had a lot of chlorine and turned all my jewlery black, now have to take to Tiffany’s to get cleaned. Small sacrifice to walk through time!

-
The Paris Cafe was a wonderful experience as well Can’t wait to come back.
-
Odd number rooms no real view for the extra cost

Arrived late and left early. Hotel is great for the convenience of location at JFK but the service was very limited. Would recommend if you have a very early flight but its expensive for what you get.
-
Great vibe, love the decor the staff was great and having the food hall open anytime was convenient.
-
Overall a decent solution for jet lag settling after a long flight and before continuing travel to outside nyc.

However: when we arrived, there was a flood in the stairs, elevators were not working and we were unable to go to the roof to see the pool and the view. Unfortunate, these things happen. Also I was unaware, that even guests had to pay to use the roof top pool area after a certain time. It should be included with the stay. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Nowhere to hang wet towels, other than on hooks so close together it was difficult to fit to bath towels side by side. The walk in shower floor is slippery, the glass partition, insufficient to stop water from getting out onto the bathroom floor. Fortunately I brought my own lotion and a shower cap, which was removed by the cleaning staff from off the sink vanity. I can't imagine trying to hang a winter coat on the hooks hanger in that area. It was obvious the rooms were designed by a man that did not spend the night. The food in the restaurant/food hall was good and the staff delightful. I am grateful the mid-century terminal has found a new purpose. I have fond memories of visiting when my Mom worked for BOAC at the IAB & later BA in the new terminal to welcome the Concord.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff were welcoming. Such a beautiful place to stay and easy to commute from JFK.

We had cocktails on 'Connie' which was fun and enjoyed spending time around the hotel with it's unique and fascinating history. I didn't have the opportunity to visit the pool, hopefully I can visit another time and try it out. All was great, just one small item of improvement, the door to the room requires some maintenance as it was very difficult to close.

Trendy, with a great concept and “props” everywhere, but you didnt get the sense of the property being well maintained. The carpeting leading from the lobby to the room wings is stained in multiple places. The food is ordinary and very over priced. The rooms are small boxes. You cant make a reservation at the desk - must be done online and they cant provide a receipt when done online thru a booking company, the room rates compared to value received are far too high. If you want the nostalgic experience, go visit, but choose to stay somewhere else.

Big deal for me… What we got was a less than helpful staff, with no help to bring a lot of bags to the room; a food area no better than an overpriced highway convenience store; a tiny room with an already worn carpet; no closet to hang anything…though it and the building looked cool; busted security door to access the room corridor; etc etc. The property deserves a solid management company…proper team for guest care; facilities maintenance; etc. This should be Disney quality for the price. Oh yes…the only plus was getting to take tons of photos of the live Constellation outside, but because it was early in the day the plane was closed, and when i asked if I could just get inside and take some pictures before I left…they said no. Added insult to injury. And they are letting the plane decay outside…☹️😣😖 My advice is to stop by on your next trip to JFk, take lots of pictures, buy some cool TWA kit, and leave!

The location is very convenient.

I finally got to my room for a cold shower, non functional lights, and not so much as a bar around the toilet. I ended my visit with a $7 drip coffee. It was burnt. I've had better coffee at a gas station. I stayed at 3 hotels this trip and this one was both the worst and the most expensive. I'm glad I was only there for one night.

One word Amazing

The staff at the front desk were very helpful. Alex in particular helped me with my booking which had a mix up with the dates. They were able to help me and I truly appreciate the professional support. The room was clean and very comfortable.
