Washington Square Hotel

Very nice hotel beside beautiful Washington Square. Close to some very nice restaurants. Renovations still in progress though, so we were disappointed that the bar was not open.

Small hotel room in an old NYC building. Room was clean, but really needs to be updated.

A great hotel, and a great location. The staff was super friendly. The hotel was very clean. They had coffee and pastries every morning for us. The water pressure in the shower and bathroom were amazing! The bed was comfortable and clean.

We had a wonderful stay! The person who checked us in at the front desk was absolutely amazing—so pleasant, welcoming, and helpful. We were pleasantly surprised to have our room upgraded to an Executive Suite, which was very spacious and exceptionally clean. The location was also great and very convenient. Overall, a fantastic experience, and we would definitely stay here again!

The lack of a mini-fridge was the downside for me. I carry medications that needs refrigeration and was a hassle

We knew the room wouldn't be ready when we got to the hotel at 11 AM, but the staff held our bags and said they would call us as soon as the room was ready. They did call us prior to the scheduled check-in time but we were already out and about. Our window looked out to a wall 6" away, but we were only in the room to sleep so it wasn't a big deal. The complimentary breakfast was a nice surprise! Coffee, tea, cappuccino, and a variety of fresh baked goods.

But for the price and location would probably stay again.

I have stayed at this property 3 times, and try and stay there whenever I can. It's a wonderful location, a beautiful building and has lots of personality.

Rooms are very clean, quiet, and well maintained. We never heard street traffic, even though we were in the 3rd floor. The AC blew very cold, and beds were very comfortable. Other reviews cautioned on the size of the rooms, but for NYC they were just fine. The staff was always VERY attentive and friendly. The complimentary breakfast muffins/croissants/danishes were perfect to get the day started, and coffee and ice water were available all day. The location in Greenwich Village is amazing, only about 150 yards from the Arch in Washington Square Park, and very close to NYU, tons of restaurants, bars, and shopping. There are also numerous subway stops within 1/4 mile that puts the entire city easily within reach.

Great location. Friendly staff. Not a big chain hotel so it had character. Good value for the money. Nothing! I liked everything .

Hotel is literally across the street from Washington Square Park and close to all sorts of great neighborhood eats. It felt like NYC, you know what I mean? Great, great stay! Would definitely stay here again,
