Washington Square Hotel

Great location. We will stay here again.

Hotel is literally across the street from Washington Square Park and close to all sorts of great neighborhood eats. It felt like NYC, you know what I mean? Great, great stay! Would definitely stay here again,

Our stay at the Washington Square Hotel was wonderful. The staff was very personable and helpful. Excellent location right across from the park. Surrounded by lots of excellent restaurants and great walking distance to anywhere you want to go. Subway system is right by.

Great location and clean. Smaller rooms than other NYC properties I’ve stayed at. (Stayed in two twin room). The rest of the property needs to be updated. Has so much potential. Water and coffee provided but coffee not until 0700. Fun area without the Times Square madness. Regarding other reviews on hard mattresses. Yes they are hard but oddly slept just fine on them and didn’t wake up stiff. Was grateful for the robe and slippers. I would stay here again for location.

Convenient boutique hotel, Restaurant/lounge were closed for renovation so cannot comment.

Great location. Gym was closed and restaurant was closed. The rooms need renovation. Very helpful staff.

Amazing staff and location.

My favorite place to stay when in Greenwich Village. Always kind helpful staff and clean rooms. Our a/c stopped working and we were immediately placed in a room where the a/c was working.

Great no frills hotel if you’re looking to stay in this area of town. Bathrooms are older / not glamorous- but great place to sleep / very friendly staff

Location is excellent - near lots of great walkable restaurants and the subway is close by. The staff is welcoming and attentive. The hotel provided a light continental breakfast which was fine. The building is dated which is a double-edged sword. The architectural details are charming; however, the age of the building made for a few annoyances—the room was lacking in tight, plentiful electrical outlets so it took a long time to recharge phones, etc. My bathroom did not have a vent fan so maintenance had to crack open the large window to defog the mirror and there was a short in the bathroom light. On the plus side, the a/c cooled the room quickly and the water pressure was robust. I believe the hotel is undergoing a rolling renovation so I would stay here again.

A beautiful property in the perfect location. The rooms were clean and air conditioned, the staff was friendly, there was fresh coffee each morning and it is located steps from the subway.

Great hotel, clean and central located.

Clean room and the staff are great. The building is old (obviously) and the rooms are small. The shower was bad... The water pressure was fine but the shower head was old and disfunctional.
