Great location, continental breakfast a bonus. Lifts are temperamental

A beautiful property in the perfect location. The rooms were clean and air conditioned, the staff was friendly, there was fresh coffee each morning and it is located steps from the subway.

Great hotel, clean and central located.

Clean room and the staff are great. The building is old (obviously) and the rooms are small. The shower was bad... The water pressure was fine but the shower head was old and disfunctional.

Excellent location, close to the subway and walking distance to nice bars and restaurants in the village. The free breakfast pastries and coffee was a bonus. Staff very friendly There was no bar for an evening drink. Some of the decor looks quite tired so could do with an update

Excellent location and great hotel for stay in NYC

Lovely hotel in an excellent location. Our room was very small and right next to the elevator so no quiet but it was fine. The staff were wonderful. The location is excellent. The restaurant and bar were closed but there was (good) coffee and light snacks available in the morning. We would have appreciated being told about the Pride parade (which was amazing). When I called about parking we were told there is a lot right nearby. Seemed perfect. What we weren’t told was that all the streets surrounding the hotel would be blocked off and we wouldn’t be able to get out. It worked out in the end but was pretty stressful at first.

This is our “go to” hotel when visiting the West Village” I want to give a shout out to Anna at the front desk.

Everything was top notch!!!

Rooms were spotless, a/c worked well, staff was friendly and great location. My only issue which is a small one is if they could include fruit and yogurt with the continental breakfast. Other than that absolutely no complaints.

The location was great. The subway was a block away and there was a grocery store on the corner. Washington Square Park was half a block away. Clean and safe neighborhood. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was amazing!

Great location and nice clean hotel, lovely touch with complimentary pastries and coffee for breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Not as modern as some of the newer hotels but has lots of character.

The staff: Everyone was kind and helpful without feeling overbearing. The in-house cafe: Coffee, tea and water available all day. Nice selection of breakfast pastries and orange juice available from 7-10:30am. Location: Perfect for our stay. Excellent park, restaurants, cafes and grocery stores all within walking distance. Subway access within a block.
