My flight was delayed. So, I couldn’t go up to the rooftop because they're only opened 5pm-11pm. Free lemonade at the lobby. There was $17 destination fee. 2 bottles of water, wifi.. those should've included in the hotel rate. I felt like it was unnecessary fee. Other than that, I had a good sleep. Thank you.

Should not be rated 4 star hotel. Great views, relatively clean room, that’s it.

We arrived about an hour before check-in, and the front desk was able to accommodate us with an early check-in for a $75 fee, which was well worth it. One thing I wasn’t aware of before arriving was the $15 daily fee for non-local residents, so keep that in mind if you’re planning a longer stay. The hotel is currently being remodeled floor by floor, and we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to one of the newly renovated rooms on the 11th floor. The room was beautiful, but it’s located directly below the rooftop bar. If you’re staying on a Friday or Saturday night, expect to hear music and activity until around 4 a.m. Thankfully, I’m a heavy sleeper, so it didn’t bother me much. The moment I walked into the room, I was completely distracted by the incredible city view. I barely took any photos of the room because I couldn’t stop looking out the window! Waking up and winding down with that skyline made the stay even more memorable. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would absolutely book this hotel again. If you’re looking for amazing views and a convenient location, this is definitely a great option. Just be mindful of the additional daily fee and request a room away from the rooftop if you’re a light sleeper.

Other reviewers have mentioned dirty elevators, and I can confirm that the buttons, floors, and walls remained visibly dirty throughout my stay. The first room I was assigned to on the 5th floor was noticeably poor in quality (furniture was very beat-up) and the second room I was moved to on the 11th floor appeared newly renovated, but the workmanship and design were poor. The toilet and shower area was enclosed by a shower-style door, while the sink was located in the bedroom. The bathroom only had one hook for a towel to dry. There were no drinking glasses, no microwave, and no water kettle. The hairdryer, steam iron, and air-conditioning unit were new and worked well. The electrical outlets had USB and USB-C ports for charging. I also saw and killed 5 drain flies, which may indicate standing water or a leak. Water pressure was generally adequate but dropped unpredictably while washing or showering, suggesting poorly balanced plumbing. The toilet did flush powerfully. I likely would not stay here again, given the unpredictability of room assignment.

Beautiful views but hotel def could use a deep clean and upgrades! The shower was clogged, carpets were dirty etc. Lots ofof smelly trash surrounding the building.

They are in the middle of a renovation, and the inconveniences were minor. As with any hotel, there are not enough places to hang things like hand towels. A dresser would have been useful. Soft surfaces on the bed frames and in the elevators are difficult to sanitize and should be avoided. The elevators were not cleaned while we were there, so it just looked bad. This hotel is a good value.

    Will stay again

This is easily a 2 star hotel who got lucky enough to use Expedia to disguise themselves as a 4 star hotel. There is nothing fancy about this one. Floors are completely abandoned and 2 of the elevators are out of commission. Stains and dust, debris and dirt everywhere. The bathrooms are in rough shape and the shower tile has years of built up calcification. This place is popular because of the rooftop bar that offers really sweet views and hookah, but charges $25 per drink and the bartender will add his own tip before showing you the bill. And if you’re not decked to the nines in your best fashionnova dress you will be stared down like you're trash. My friend actually got chased down for taking a piece of starburst from the bathroom concierge stand and he forced her to put it back. It was just a really funny night. I should have booked the Pod, at least they would have held on to our baggage all day after checkout. And for less money at that. Never again!!

Room was very comfy. Bathroom updated. Shower was hot & soothing. Room not big, but nice size for 2 twin beds. We didn’t feel cramped. Room fridge was too small, couldn’t put left overs up. Otherwise very nice stay.

I feel it is too pricey for the quality of the facility

I really enjoyed my stay here. The rooftop was a fun place to hang and it was very close to metro into Manhattan. The surrounding area is industrial and quiet at night, which intimidates me slightly walking home on night 1, but once I found my way around it was a great place to stay.

The hotel is essentially a night spot in the evening so there is a younger crowd and the music bass sounds does infiltrate to the sixth floor where I was sleeping even with the windows closed and the air conditioner rumbling. The hotel is in a very convenient location near the trains to Manhattan and MOMA P.S.1 . The hotel itself could use a bit of polishing but given the volume of people who come and go for the Paradise bar on the rooftop, it is not surprising that the hotel's workforce is a little bit stretched My room was clean and the housekeeping service was reliable and excellent. My favourite interaction was with Willie, who was the staff/security on duty-on the very early morning departure as the president arrived and the World Cup excitement began. He helped me find an affordable Uber to the airport so that I could escape before FIFA chaos settled into the city.
