DoubleTree by Hilton Newark Penn Station

Staff was great. Bar/small restaurant is a bit too brightly lit but the people there were very nice as well. Fun fellow guests during the World Cup. The hotel is directly across from the downtown Newark Penn Station so it is very convenient for travelers.

No complaints during my stay at this hotel. The check-in was smooth, the staff is accommodating, and the place is clean. It’s near the Newark Penn Station which can take you directly to NYC (World Trade Center) or if you’re visiting for the World Cup, it takes you to MetLife Stadium. Just be aware of your surroundings but apart from that, it was a great stay at this hotel.

The worst hotel experience of my entire life. Rudest staff, elevator from entrance lobby not working, no bellboys when needed. No water dispensers, only paid water for guests. Stay somewhere else!!!

Been sick and didnt got help with cancelation.

Great location, clean room, would stay again

The room is nice. However found some mold u see bathroom sink. Other than that everything else was clean. Loved that it’s conveniently located across from station in front. There was a restaurant downstairs so I didn’t have to walk to find dinner or breakfast.

TT was so nice, kind and professional. My son and I flew in from Houston. And I felt welcomed and supported throughout our stay.

Everything thing was Fantastic the front desk manager was exceptional and Very friendly. Great job.

Was a nice stay...Rooms clean..restaurants n bars in the area...not far from the mall

Spacious room, Jack and Jill bathrooms, huge bed and tea/coffee facilities and fridge Only one person checking in guests at the most busiest time, it took over 40 minutes to finally get room keys.

Housekeeping didn't arrive in 2 days. Staff was unfriendly. Hotel lobby looked like a old building. Pictures on the site are totally different from reality.

The worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. We chose this hotel for its free shuttle to and from the airport. We couldn’t even get anyone to answer thr phone to pick us up even though those were the instructions. Staff was extremely unhelpful. No soap in room….when we asked for some they said they ran out…..no soap for 3 days. Toilets wouldn’t flush properly.

My stay was not the best. I asked twice about getting my room cleaned and new towels and it never happened. Then to be told you must asked for it to be done before 10am each day. My sister was on the 9th floor and had a clean room each day. The midnight staff are tired and attiutudial. Front desk is a customer service position. Getting avoid with the guest over questions is unacceptable. Sorry to say I do not think I will be returning again.

GREAT Property and location Security deposit was not paid all back

It was ok not bad not in the best area and they were short staffed but thankful for the airport shuttle.

It’s very close and connected to Newark Penn Station It’s noisy, outdated and not very clean
