The staff was very helpful, the room was very nice, the air conditioning was easily accessible and easy to control and the breakfast was good but expensive !

Just a disclosure I am a hotel connoisseur so I am fully aware of hotel customer service and quality. So this is my first time in Newark and the advertisement of the hotel and what it actually is was far off. For one hotel customer service was horrible, me and my husband got there and there was no one at the front door to greet us or help us with our bags, secondly they advertise valet but it’s not valet , no one meets you to take the car, front desk gives a parking pass that’s 20/nightly and you drive it in the gate and there’s parking literally available and I’m assuming the valet are workers there but they come to the window and tell you to leave the keys in the car to park your vehicle in a parking spot that’s right there and on top of that they do that to basically ask for money. Thirdly the ice machine on every single floor does not work, you have to go downstairs to the front desk so that they can let you have access to get ice through this back door area. The hotel room has no microwave and when we called front desk to ask for a microwave, they had none available on the premises at all to use. It was around 11:30 at night where we called the hotel as we were heading there to ask them a question and no one is available from that time until the next morning so you get no assistance from 1130 at night until the next day. The room vent had dust/mold. Sheets had stains. Shower was moldy. I would never stay here or recommend!

There should be microwave oven in the rooms, it’s very basic to have in the room. Also, basic cutleries should be made available. Being able to get it from the restaurant when they don’t provide 24hrs is not good enough. Customer service needs to be better.

Happy with our stay. Been here a couple of times now and perfect location for Newark Penn Station and getting into Manhattan.

Our room was clean and spacious. The chandelier was beautiful! I have no dislikes about the property.

The hotel does not have many amenities the continental breakfast is 20.00 per day with no à la carte options. The dinner options were amazing though enjoyed the cocktails as well! Housekeeping cleans daily! No carpeted floors! Room was spacious I enjoyed my week long stay.

The restaurant has excellent food and the price is not terribly expensive.

An odd smell and overpriced breakfast buffet (for what was offered) and very early closure of kitchen for dinner were less than awesome features…….but overall this place gets thumbs up

It was clean. I didn’t like view of parking lot with bright lights.

Our issues were the room smelled like pot the entire visit and the shower mold was bad enough that my son refused to use it. Hotel snacks store was quite pitiful with only Fritos, water and I think a can of alcohol (maybe beer?). The rooms are quiet so I slept well and the location was good.

I enjoyed my stay. It was a short visit, but the place was very quiet. I was able to rest well that night, and my expectations were met.

I stayed there to attend a World Cup game. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was close to Newark Penn Station and airport. Cannot comment about the food because did not eat there
