Hampton Inn & Suites Wilmington Christiana

Convenient location to ILG airport, but overall not a great experience at this Hampton. The suite was spacious but mattresses were uncomfortable with hard, creaky coils plus housekeeping really failed to deliver a basic service. Our bed did not have a fitted sheet over the dirty/hairy mattress protector or a top sheet. We had to make the bed with the sheets in the closet. Also when we showered we realized there was zero shampoo or conditioner in the refillable containers. Quite a bad surprise when your shower is already started. This hotel could do a lot better in the housekeeping department. Front desk staff was friendly. I’d pass next time, too many other chains in the area that get it right.

The breakfast was really good! The rooms was nice and clean. The bed was a bit uncomfortable to us, but we enjoyed our stay overall.

Always reliable and helpful

Second time I have stayed there. Each time they had no extra blankets. Typically there’s at least one extra blanket in the closet in every Hilton I stay in. You need extra blankets because the blanket that they provide on the bed is very thin and is really just a thick sheet. The rooms are dated. The staff was very friendly. The TV is outdated as well, and you can’t access Netflix, Apple TV or anything else that you get in your average Hampton Inn and suites.

Overall a good place to stay for the night. Our room door wouldnt open as it was stuck, wallpaper was peeling and the room had a lack of upkeep maintenace wise but overall clean

Clean room, friendly staff, easy to get to, and walking distance to several restaurants.

The breakfast was just OK the eggs were not fresh but doable .

Chose a Hampton Inn because it usually denotes a clean, comfortable hotel. Started off well with an easy, friendly check-in agent. Unfortunately, the room was musty and comforters were dirty, as in actual dirt and crumbs The walls were paper thin, to the point that I felt I was sharing a room with the lady next door. I literally could hear her snoring, her alarm, and every word of her conversations. The elevator dings when it arrives and it sounded like it was in our room...all night.

Great location excellent property

Very convenient to airport. All amenities were good especially breakfast.

Everything was amazing. The only issue I had was the beds are a little to firm for my liking, however my kids loved the firmness.

Only gave us 3 towels when the room was booked for 4 people. No washcloths at all. Had to go to target and buy towels and washcloths to wash up

Everything was perfect except the pool, it was super dirty, and they did not refund the $50 I paid at the front when I came in! It’s been 4 days already and they did not even give me the receipt
