Hotel Christiana is a nice hotel with a restaurant and helpful staff I was concerned and did not feel safe due to fact that the door that lead to outside courtyard close to my room did not lock. When I took my dog out you did not need the key to enter hotel rooms. This is unsafe. Also being a pet friendly hotel the room has carpet which had lingering odor of dog urine.

The "smart" TV took about 30 minutes of button pushing to get anything to come on. The bathroom sink area was just that - no room for anything beyond a toothbrush The pillows felt like sandbags. But the mattress was comfortable. My room was booked and paid for on line.....YET - They insisted on running my credit card - $50.00 "for incidentals"...No receipt and I was told that it would be recredited to my card....So who is getting the interest on that $50.00? $240.00 for a 12 hour stay.

I didn’t give my stay an excellent rating because the elevator near my room was broken. I also returned late each night, and it was very difficult to find a parking spot. I didn’t visit any of the restaurants or use any of the amenities during my stay, so I can’t comment on those. However, the staff were very friendly, helpful, and informative.

The Staff are very good and Kind, & they had their names Welcoming them as Guest on the TV, which was a nice touch. Location of the hotel is good, and the room size was good. Outside of the 4 things that were positive, everything else was a huge FAIL!!! $293 for a 1 night stay in a so called VIP SUPERIOR KING ROOM had holes in the ceiling a dirty vent blowing dust dirt out, a dirty bathroom with soap scum in the sink area as well, indeed unacceptable, and the bed was so uncomfortable. This was a special gift from me to my Uncle & Auntie to celebrate his retirement and new life of luxury and relaxation. This wasn't what they received and was a HUGE disappointment.They of course made the best of the evening and went out to Dinner, and thankfully the Christiana Mall was available. This was supposed to be the HILTON not Motel 6. Also, there wasn't any compensation for this EPIC FAIL..... Room 440 Here are a few pictures that were taken.

It’s welcoming. It feels like a cozy getaway . The staff is so helpful and friendly. The food and drinks at the restaurant/bar are delicious. If you are too tired to sit and relax you can take it to your room to enjoy. This is a place I keep coming back to!

We really enjoyed the pool. It wasn’t huge, but we were the only ones in the pool and it was lovely.
