The Not So Good - breakfast is not technically free, you need to set the right number of guests if you prepay. We only set one guest during booking and they only gave coupons for one guest- our mistake but we didn’t know they needed coupons . The staff at the restaurant were able to make an exception so that we could pay for one person instead of 3 people after we ran out of coupons Parking is also not free, we were able to book for a garage on Parking.com to get around that issue Also there is no pool, we thought there was when we booked (our mistake)

Not the best area being right next to the station but the hotel was immaculate.

I always look forward to staying here. I came to appreciate the area and services offered especially the restaurant/bar.

Perfect location for Penn Station or an event at the Prudential Center Room temperature fluctuations made it tough to sleep

The front desk team members were all kind and considerate. The space was the most ideal for my visit. Wonderful and central space for visiting NJ.

Our flight to EWR was cancelled due to weather, so we could not make it for the first night. I called the front desk and informed them. When we arrived the following day, the front desk agent told us our 3-night reservation had been cancelled and there were no rooms available. Hearing this at around 1 a.m., after a long and stressful travel day, was extremely frustrating. The customer service tone was also not very helpful or welcoming. Eventually, he somehow managed to offer us a room. We also had a problem with the airport shuttle. We arrived on time for the hourly shuttle, and the luggage attendant said he would call the driver, but no one showed up. Another employee came later and was unaware of the schedule change, leaving us waiting another 30 minutes when we were already short on time for our flight. The one bright spot was James, the shuttle driver. He was extremely helpful, professional, and kind. The location is convenient, but this experience was much worse than our previous stay. Better communication, customer service, and shuttle coordination are definitely needed.

Everything was convenient to get to the city. Parking situation was complicated.

I always stay at this hotel when I visit New Jersey. I catch the train so it’s rather convenient. The bathroom was very dirty. I did not like having an adjoining room. I wish they would let you know that when they give you your room. Underneath the chair in my room was food. There was someone else’s hair in the shower and on the toilet.

Clean and very accessible location. Next to Penn station and connected to a passage way that brings you right in front of the prudential center. Parking isn’t included anymore

I was not able to get access to the hotel cos they said the hotel confirmation was not there. Poor customer service

Location right next to Penn station and close to the Ironbound district. The bed is comfortable. Hotel shuttle sucks. We arrived late but still within the their working time, call the hotel no one answered so we ended up paying for uber. We are now leaving for the airport, the shuttle is supposed to leave every 30min, well it is not true, we have to find the driver and it’s past the half hour, now we have to wait for another 20min. Good thing we are not in a hurry. The housekeeping did not clean our room the first day, had to call the next day to clean, then they did not leave us any towels. Thirdly they advertise a cookie at check in, there is no cookie not that I need it but don’t advertise something you are not providing. I think this hotel is only good for the location. The restuarant is good, the drinks and food is decent and the staff is nice.

I had a truly terrible experience staring at your property last night. I checked in with another person, we each had a room. I asked the front desk clerk if we could be near each other and he stated that due to the late hour it was not possible. We ended up with rooms a floor apart. Upon entering my room, me and my husband were greeted with a disgusting and moldy smell. There was also a device called odor stop on the floor that was plugged in and running quite loudly. I went back to the front desk to advise them of the situation and he seemed annoyed as if it was my fault. He took the keys and processed a new set. We did not receive an apology and he didn’t tell us what room we had, just handed us the new set. The new room given to us, was on the same floor as my friend that I initially checked in with. Yet, we were told we could not get rooms near each other. Overall just left a really bad impression and I will never stay at this hotel again.

The breakfast buffet was cold. When we checked in, the staff member was not friendly and she offered little help when we asked for directions to go off the property.

We walked to Prudential Stadium for a show, walked to dinner and breakfast—good location for access to food and entertainment. Parking in adjacent garage is $35/day and they counted by the day not by 24 hours, so we parked at night and left in the morning and paid $70. Would be nice if hotel could validate or get reduced price parking for guests.
