We are a family of (6) who had to reserve (2) rooms. They did accommodate my request to put us close together. When making the reservation online it stated "newly renovated" however the situation was really "being renovated". We were put on the 2nd floor which had heavy renovations being done and part was blocked off. The construction crew / cleaning crew was not going a very good job and there was small debris/trash going down the hall. One of our rooms was not particularly clean and the door was not latching correctly. After driving all day and at 9 pm at night, I had to sit around for about an hour waiting for the front desk person to attempt to call maintenance and troubleshoot it himself. The couldn't move us to another room because they were at capacity. I appreciate his efforts and eventually we believe we were able to get it to lock. However, my wife slept poorly worrying about the door. In the other room, the mini fridge freezer had frozen over and the door would not close. I had to turn it off and allow it to defrost. In the morning there was a rather large puddle due to the defrosting. We attempted to dry up with towels to be helpful to staff and future customers. Overall it was a poor experience.

The location is absolutely perfect, and so are the staff! Every single employee I spoke with was helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and the hotel was quiet when it was bedtime. We didn’t take a pet, but it’s a pet-friendly hotel and we saw furry friends. It is very easy and quick to Door Dash there, too. The worst part was paying extra for parking: $15 per night. The sink was slow-draining, and if you turn on the bathroom light, the area outside of the bathroom is lit as well. I also couldn’t find a way to turn on the vent in the bathroom. There’s no free breakfast.

The staff were very friendly and the location was great! Bed was not comfortable for us. The pool is too small and the bathroom sliding door was difficult to open and close The breakfast is weird. It’s like they are charging you for a continental breakfast. They don’t have complimentary coffee all day like most hotels also you have to lay for parking which I have never had to do at a hotel

The bathroom door was a bit heavy and hard to open/close.

Location was good. Our door was stuck and loud and hard to open.The drain to the sink was plugged and very slow. The water pressure was very low.

The staff were more than accommodating letting us check in early and worked with us on a couple concerns. First concern: lots of construction going on, dead bolt on door not in working order, and bathroom door slides with no latch or lock. Second concern: bedding was significantly stained. The GM offered to refund our stay if we chose to leave and bedding was promptly changed to clean linens. Ultimately, we stayed and had a comfortable stay with hot coffee in the morning!

Property was going through some renovations but staff put us in a room away from work areas. Hotel is close to heritage center…walked across bridge adjacent to Newport. Only issue was drunk people at bar along street you needed to be careful walking around, but otherwise was fine.
