We had a fabulous stay at Austin House! Our room was a spacious suite (living area and bedroom) and modern bathroom. All were clean and comfortable. The house is full of antiques and art. The location is great - walking distance to the wharf and many restaurants. Robert is the perfect host - friendly, informative and attentive to our requests. He prepared the most delicious and unique breakfasts each morning! Parking was nearby. We would definitely stay here again! Nothing

Absolutely amazing room, the bed was SO comfortable. The bathroom was so clean. The location was perfect.

Breakfast great, location excellent. Close to everything, easy to get around, walkable. An earlier breakfast time option would be nice.

Austin House is perfectly located for easy walking around Newport - just walk down the street to the Wharfs and an easy walk to the Cliff Walk and Easton Beach, also close to the Tennis Hall of Fame. And the breakfasts Robert prepared were fabulous! We would definitely stay here again Nothing I can think of

The bedroom we stayed in was right next to the road, so it could be a tad loud with drunk people walking by and cars. However, I imagine this was more about this specific room (and staying there on a summer Saturday), and it's still a gorgeous room!

Robert was so accommodating, friendly, and made us a DELICIOUS breakfast. The room is generously sized, with two air conditioning units and cable TV, and it felt very homey. You really felt like you were staying in someone's thoughtfully decorated home, though you still had full privacy. We would definitely stay again! The bedroom we stayed in was right next to the road, so it could be a tad loud with drunk people walking by and cars. However, I imagine this was more about this specific room (and staying there on a summer Saturday), and it's still a gorgeous room!

Room was very comfortable with a good size bathroom . Owner was very responsive. No breakfast that particular weekend which was not communicated prior to the visit

The location was perfect. Park the car and a close walk to everything. Robert has done a great job of making the property very comfortable. He has utilized the space well. The bistro table on the front porch are nice to enjoy breakfast or an evening beverage. The only suggestion I would offer is to put an outdoor couch or comfy chairs in the yard .
