Overall the place is very nice but walls are very thin and could hear upstairs guests walking around all night from 3am to 10am so hard to sleep.

The property was well kept and the room was comfortable. The property is located close to Thames St and the harbor. We were placed in room 13 which was three flights up and no assistance with luggage. Also, after settling in I text the Innkeeper and asked for one extra pillow and ice and after a curt response I was told that they don’t have extra pillows and the ice machine was on the first floor.

What a great place to stay. Rooms were clean, comfortable and adorably decorated. Breakfast was delicious and everyone was incredibly helpful! Easy walk to the downtown and wonderful deck to sit and enjoy a book!

only downside was that we had no hot water for the entire weekend. i can only assume there was an issue but we were not informed. we gave it a day before reaching out to ask. i will say the property manager jackie, didn't seem overly concerned. we were offered a free night during the winter which isn't really helpful at all. Not to be a Karen but paying over 700 a night, one should expect hot water for showering etc. Not to mention after checking out while leaving, i over heard jackie and the team talking about our complaint of no hot water as though we were in the wrong for complaining or expecting it. too bad it soured an otherwise pleasant and enjoyable stay. a small reimbursement to show understanding of accommodations not working properly goes a lot further than a free night in the winter at a summer vacation spot. Worse things can happen but unfortunate ending to the weekend trip.

The location was excellent—close to the harbour while still being on a quiet street, making it a peaceful place to stay. The staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout my visit. The bed was large and very comfortable, which made for a great night's sleep. I wasn't aware when I booked that the inn is dog-friendly, so I was a little concerned when I arrived and saw several dogs. Thankfully, my worries were unfounded, as it was quiet and I wasn't disturbed by any noise. That said, I think it would be helpful if the inn made this more explicit in its property description so guests know what to expect. I'd describe the breakfast as quite basic. Personally, I didn't find much that suited my taste, but the kitchen staff member was exceptionally kind and accommodating—she happily prepared a fresh omelette for me on request, which I really appreciated. I wasn't a fan of the paper plates and plastic cutlery, as they made the dining experience feel less enjoyable. Unfortunately, the coffee was also not to my liking. The room itself was clean, although there was a very noticeable smell of bleach, which was quite strong during my stay.

Great stay!! We would definitely come back! My only note is more of just a watch out for future guests. We had the bottom floor right room and it’s pretty noisy when there’s guests staying above or early when breakfast is being started.

Such a wonderful place! It was located close to everything we wanted to see in Newport and was a comfortable place to come back to at the end of the day. Upon our arrival, check-in was super easy and we got some recommendations for the area. The room was clean and very cute. The free grab-and-go breakfast was reliable, and it was great to get coffee during any time of the day. The 'ruff' top deck was well-maintained and a great place to gather. Very kind and helpful staff. I would recommend this place to anyone!
