Paws on Pelham

The greeting by Tonie. The accommodating of the cooks. Cleanliness of room & facility. Whoever was in the room above us, the entire time they were in room, their dog barked & when they walked around up there, it was like they were stomping.

This property exceeded every expectation for a B&B in the Newport downtown area for quality and value. The check-in/checkout processes and daily breakfast were executed flawlessly. In particular, the innkeeper (Tonie) is the best at what she does when it comes to timeliness and responsiveness to guest needs and their priorities. I have stayed at multiple properties in Newport over the past ten years and Paws on Pelham is by far the best accommodation.

Great place. Clean, big rooms and the breakfasts were hearty. And great location right in the middle of town.

Location Stairs- a lot of stairs

The location is perfect, within walking distance of everything. We really appreciated having access to parking a block away, given how hard and expensive parking can be in Newport. We also loved all the dog touches throughout the building and in our room. Newport is obviously expensive so can't complain about the price too much, but it was on the pricier side for a B&B.

This was a dog friendly property. We were not traveling with pets. The property was meticulously clean and well maintained. Lisa was very helpful & engaging. Highly recommend Paws on Pelham

Such a nice change, location was great 8 minutes stroll to water front and shops and restaurants. Breakfast was just right, all the staff were great lovely renovated building, Parking one block away reserved for your room was good.

Great location, very clean and inn keeper was nice and helpful!! Enjoyed our stay, coffee and breakfast was perfect! You need to be able to walk up and down stairs. Loved it and will stay again!

The owner/manager was very friendly and accommodating. The staff who made the breakfasts did an outstanding job -it was very delicious. Room #2 was too small for 2 people and 2 Labrador Retrievers. There wasn't enough room to set up 2 dog crates. We had to place 1 of the crates in the bathroom. In order to watch the TV, you had to sit in the bed. The room was so small that there was only one chair in the room. There weren't enough plugs in the room.

The breakfast was amazing! Tonie was so lovely, and the location was so convenient, right off the cute street. We'll be back to stay here again for sure!

Exceptional

Lovely friendly hotel. The staff were great and the breakfast was fantastic. Central location The only negative was that the beds were not made each day. I would have expected this with a hotel. Wouldnet put me off staying and I would definitley recommend to others. Great to be able to bring your dog (even though were were travelling without ours)

What a great place to stay. Room was exceptional with a lovely innkeeper! Close to downtown Newport. Highly recommend!

Very clean place. Breakfast was really good.

Paws on Pelham is a very well maintained Inn. The Breakfast every day was very good. The staff was pleasant and attentive. The Inn is in a great location within walking distance to the Wharf also. The only draw back is parking is about a block away. We had to make several trips to unload and then load our car upon arrival and departure. We had a very nice stay overall and our dog loved it too.

Excellent place to stay! Very,l clean, and the staff is super nice. It’s also very well located. I’m super happy with my stay and will definitely stay here again!

Parking is at the Elks Lodge just up the street, but it's no more than a 1 min walk. We hope to come back again, with our dog next time!
