Mill Street Inn

The duplex suite was very comfortable. The staff was very helpful. Loved our stay.

Lovely room, great staff and perfect location. There is a zero entry from the parking lot and rooms on the first floor so steps can be avoided.

Our King suite room - with soft bed, sofa & armchair - had great atmosphere with brick walls, high ceilings with beams, and views of roofs and treetops. If you order a complimentary picnic breakfast the night before, they deliver it to your room! Easy parking and easy to walk around downtown area. The only difficulty was no elevator, but the nice front desk staff carried our suitcases up for us. We’d be happy to stay again!

Mill Street Inn’s location is perfect if you’re in Newport without a car. It’s centrally located, an easy walk to transport, and just a few blocks from downtown. We enjoyed an afternoon drink on the rooftop deck after a long day seeing Newport. Shout out to Alex at the front desk. He was a great help in giving directions and making recommendations. He has a great smile and genuinely seemed to enjoy making us feel welcomed.

Great location in Newport. Rooms were bigger than I would have expected. Clean, nice boutique setup here. Staff was helpful. I would stay again!

The hotel delivers breakfast to the door; the menu changes daily, and the food is very fresh.

Convenient to downtown

The stay was amazing! The staff were all amazing and super helpful. My stay there was much needed and I’m happy I picked and found this hotel.

Paid through the nose for a ‘luxury’ room that with the exception of the bed, was grotty, run down and did not at all accurately reflect the photos online. Rip off for the price. Needs serious upgrading. Will not return

We had an amazing stay at the Mill Street Inn. Couldn’t ask for a better location: just a quick walk down to the harbor and, in the opposite direction, the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A delicious, healthy breakfast is delivered to your room every morning, and the hotel provides other nice perks like complimentary sangria and access to the rooftop with beautiful views of Newport. The on-site parking was also a huge benefit. We will definitely be back!

The overpriced nightly rate due to the tennis event. I wouldn’t pay $1k nightly rate to stay there in a different situation. I had no choice since I booked last minute.

Such a perfect local location to everything in Newport. The inn was very clean, housekeeping was great! The convenience of a nice yet simple continental breakfast was an added treat!! NA

Great location. Staff was very helpful and breakfast was quite good. Parking is tight but only had to get in once. Rooftop was minimal but nice

The Mill Street Inn was a unique spot with a great location, a few minutes walk to Bellevue or Thames Streets. Our room was more like a suite, had a separate living room and a bedroom. Amenities were great, and there was breakfast that you ordered the night before that they delivered at the time of your choosing. Staff couldn’t be friendlier, especially Lori who seemed to know everything about Newport as a lifelong resident. Would definitely go back!

Would have enjoyed the rooftop deck open later. Closed at sunset. But not a negative thing to say.

I loved this place! On a quiet street but also close to everything. Clean, great service, quiet, and they gave me a welcome gift with local snacks. Highly recommend!

Away from the crowds enough but only a 1 minute walk to the harbor.
