Beech Tree Inn & Cottage

Clean and newly renovated room but maintained that old school charm The cost was a bit high especially for a weekday visit

The inn was very well maintained and pretty. Their breakfast service was a step above other b&bs in which I've stayed. Room was spacious and had a nice balcony. Getting to the third floor is a little difficult with a lot of luggage and could be for people with mobility issues

I had initially made the reservation for the wrong dates through Booking.com and it was supposed to be a non-cancellable reservation. I let the Inn know about my situation and they were kind enough to cancel the reservation and let me re-book for the correct date. Highly appreciate their flexibility. No complaints. Room, buildings and grounds are clean and in good shape. Service is consistent.

The location is centrally located to Newport and an easy walk to restaurants and shopping. I liked the off-street parking. The staff is helpful and friendly. Breakfast is lovely with a nice variety. The outside patio is a relaxing space at the end of the day.

Beech Tree Inn is fantastic!

The staff were amazing! They went over and above to accommodate my family and me. Breakfast was amazing and we felt safe and valued as guests. This is a cottage so I had to get used to not having a microwave and refrigerator in my room. Nevertheless, the facility had them available for all guests to use in the general area. Instead of two small chairs, a couch would be nice.

The room was exceptionally comfortable and felt warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. One of my favorite details was the bedding—the sheets were incredibly soft, with lovely patterns that made the room feel cozy and home-like. It was one of the most comfortable nights of sleep we’ve had while traveling. Breakfast was another highlight. It was freshly prepared based on our selections, which made the experience feel very personal and thoughtful. Our room also had a jacuzzi, although we didn’t have the chance to use it. Everything was clean, well maintained, and designed with comfort in mind. The hospitality was outstanding, and the entire stay made our anniversary even more special. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Newport.

Quiet atmosphere and the surrounding gardens were lovely. Room had no place to unpack clothes except a closet with no shelves. There was only one luggage rack in a room for two people.

This nice hotel is located with a 10 min. Walk from the center of Newport and 15 min. From the whorfs.

Breakfast was wonderful! Staff was exceptional! Loved the dog! I think her name was Zoya?? If I come back to Newport, I'm booking there again. Can't think of one thing.
