Gilded

The property was a convenient location. Parking a plus. For the price which was very expensive, I expected more from the rooms and the common areas. The water had barely any pressure, the rooms needed some basic repairs. Just as not polished.

Stayed here for my boyfriends birthday. I chose to upgrade the room, but they further upgraded us to the best suite they have which was complimentary. Room was beautiful. Great breakfast included with stay. Very kind staff. Would definitely stay if I came back to Newport.

We came for a wedding and unfortunately had to leave early and miss breakfast, but the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the unique decor. We would absolutely stay there again next time we go to Newport.

The property was an eclectic boutique hotel, with excellent service, very nice linens, a nice light breakfast, and an exceptionally friendly staff. However, I would caution seniors or anyone who has mobility issues about staying here as our room was on the 3rd floor and there isn’t an elevator. The stairs are kind of steep and narrow at the top as well.

Great location with parking, charming atmosphere, wonderful breakfast and friendly staff. Highly recommend! Will & RJ

Decor is beautiful, great location, rooms are very comfortable and clean, and the employees are wonderful! The breakfast is awesome too! Can't think of anything!

Amazing hotel, perfect location, wonderful boutique style

We always enjoy our stay at Lark properties and The Gilded was no exception. Since we were traveling from New Jersey, the front desk went above and beyond to ensure our room was ready early. Our king room was open, clean, and felt very big. There was a large closet and dresser. Despite the bathroom being small, it was well designed and comfortable. The front porch and courtyard were great areas to enjoy breakfast or a cup of coffee & their delicious chocolate chip cookies. The Gilded is walking distance from everything you’d want to see in Newport and a short drive from local beaches. It’s tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, away from the busier downtown area. Parking was easy and always available, despite The Gilded being fully booked. We will absolutely be back the next time we come to Newport ! Nothing not to like :)

Great stay and really enjoyed the breakfast items

Great location, good value. Spacious rooms.

Lovely homely hotel with extra touches - healthy choices at breakfast all home made and delicious - location was great Nothing it was perfect

Staff, location, and amenities. We enjoyed it all.

The size of the bathroom.

My petite Queen had wonderful soft lighting - ambiance, but no good lighting for cleansing and applying makeup. Mattress was well used on one side… I needed to sleep on wall side…

Very good

Exceptional

We liked everything!!! No such thing as not to like Gilded!

Lovely property-beautiful decor and comfortable mattress and bedding. The breakfasts were delicious and the afternoon chocolate chip cookies were incredibly good!!! Great location-easy to walk to wharf area and very quiet area

Centrally located! Small bites at breakfast were just enough and delicious!! Our room was very small (petite queen) but was perfect, clean and comfortable for just sleeping and showering (which we did). Great 2 day getaway!!

Superb
