Things to consider here especially if you don't bring a dog with you the floors were not cleaned - there were stains all over them - I dont think my room was ever cleaned during the two days I stayed there. The girl at the front desk was sympathic however she said she was limited in what she could do. I booked this hotel based on the Expedia reviews stating it was clean - I think the only thing was cleaned in my room were the beds that were made and towels in the bathroom - otherwise if you are used to dog stains on the floor this is the hotel for you.

Was on okay place to stay. Restaurant service for breakfast was absurdly slow and the restaurant is pretty overpriced. The room was clean. The hotel is a lot of dark hallways and we had to go out and back in to get into the lobby or go to the pool. Wasn’t as cool as it looks online but it was an ok place to stay if you’re just looking for a hotel.

The location is not bad; however because of the distance, you will need to take the distance into consideration. They provide a shuttle that runs on the hour but it requires planning on your part to organize your schedule. We had an issue with the circuit tripping but the staff was quick to fix the problem. The sink in the bathroom only ran hot water not sure why that was happening.

The Wayfinder is a “boutique hotel,” and every encounter I had with staff was good. Although it is an older property, the rooms are well staged, and very nicely done. The only way someone might know the property has been around a while is because of the corridors. They can be dim with light. However, the hotel was clean, efficient, and friendly. Family friendly in every way. It is a good place. If I’m again in Newport, I’d welcome the opportunity to return.

Another great stay. The pool is always wonderful. Only hiccup was the shower did not get cleaned from the last guest so there was a ton of long hair but the next day housekeeping took care of.

I was so impresse with the confort and quality of my room....I wll definetively return to this hotel

Très bon service. M’ont offert une deuxième chambre gratuitement car le divan lit était trop petit

The building is shaped in an odd way, I got lost every time I left the room.. whether I went to the pool or the lobby .. the building has a weird layout with dark hallways. The pool was dirty .. had a lot of leaves and dead bugs floating in it.

cleanliness of the room and bathrooms. Comfortable bed.
-
location ok, not horrible but not great as you can not walk to anything at all! its functional with surprisingly good food and service - warm, friendly and very helpful staff. Free Parking is good What shocked us was price, over $700 per night was not a good value at all for the location
-
Great decor to the rooms with high quality products in the bathrooms. The free bike hire. A bit far out of the main action of Newport

We liked the cleanliness, the coffee we could buy at the coffee stand every morning, the shuttle service from the hotel to the marina, the décor of the room and the lobby, and the pool. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel despite a few shortcomings. The staff was always friendly and helpful, assisting us with our room cleaning requests and helping us when the shuttle from the marina to the hotel failed to pick us up. The rooms are not soundproof. Although we stayed on the top floor, which helped reduce the noise from inside; our window faced the road, so the sound of passing cars woke us up in the morning. The restaurant service was very slow, so we gave up and didn’t try eating there again.

Very nice hotel but you definitely needed a car to get around from the hotel.

The room was clean. The hotel itself was fine but definitely not luxurious. But for the price it was good.

Loved this home and its location too! The home is new and well stocked with everything we needed, including great coffee and welcoming wine. All of us agreed we would highly recommend to our friends and families. We enjoyed a charming puzzle and playing Tridominos in the evenings and making great breakfasts and grilling too. Delightful cottage for a relaxing stay close to everything! Thank you so much!

Great location, shuttle to Bowens Wharf, loved the decor, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. This is nitpicky, but the coffee in the room was terrible. Other than that, nothing.

The shuttle into town was so convenient!

The downside to this destination is the restaurant. The menu is very limited and the prices are high.

Beautiful clean line furniture and decor. Comfortable bed and room layout and friendly staff and great food. Unfortunately the person working at the cafe wasn’t skilled to make good espresso drinks. As a coffee enthusiasts we were disappointed.
