The Room was cream the staff was good and it’s walkable distance from prospect point, terrain point , food courts. The breakfast at hotel is really good

Absolutely loved the old place. Very art deco and really cool. Staff at front desk were great. Breakfast was hot and decent. Room was awesome. Location is terrific, just walk around the corner to the falls. Only negative was that on the shower stall there was no shelf for soap or shampoo. Would definitely stay there again.

Excellent older nostalgic hotel. Staff was fantastic and very accommodating

Was told we would have robes that didn’t happen and paid for room with a view of Canada that didn’t happen

The staff were all friendly and the building had a nice ambience. It was totally walkable to the fall. We could see an exposed water pipe on the ceiling, and because of the rain, the noise from the pipe was awful during the night, waking us up many times. We were staying in a room on the second floor, but it felt like we were lying just beneath a waterfall. We were worried the pipe might burst. Fortunately, the noise stopped after the second day once the weather cleared.

No microwave Small room Curtain hook broken

The property was beautiful and set in a very walkable area. The historic beauty of the building was a joy to stay in while enjoying the modern amenities. The only thing about the property that I would love to see address is the handicapped room is not truly a handicap room for someone in a wheelchair. To get around the room there was not a lot of space and the bathroom shower did not have a handheld shower to give a shower to my husband.

Bits of ceiling stuco falling on the headboard and top of bed. Staff did not clean up. There was a LOT of it behind the bed. As above but the staff was excellent so it made the stay ok.

The bar was cosy and comfortable. The barman was excellent. The reception staff were really nice too. The bed linen was really not nice quality. I’m not even sure it was cotton. It felt synthetic and horrible and as a result did not have a good sleep. It wouldn’t take much to improve this imo. That was one big negative for us. The second one was the breakfast. It was awful. Also there was quite a lot of noise from adjoining rooms. The general decor is slightly dated.

we had a wonderful time staying in this hotel. The room was clean and Staff was great. The only thing that I can complain about is they ran out of creamer for my coffee was a disappointment for me but otherwise everything was wonderful

Great staff

The location is very good for visiting Niagara Falls. The room was nice, but dark. When we arrived the elevators weren't working - which is not good when you're in a high rise. Thankfully, we were on the second floor. Breakfast was fine as well.

Location was convenient to everything. Great location. No microwave in room.

Friendly service, very clean, I would rebook again!

Had to clean the whirlpool tub before we could use it. And the lounge to watch the fireworks is very small. And I’ve never had a hotel tell me they couldn’t print me a receipt upon checkout.

The bigger issues were the smell, the dust, and the carpets. The room didn’t feel properly cleaned. Dust was everywhere; even inside the drawers, where it was so thick it looked black. The fridge handle was dirty, and even the bedsheet had a few black spots. In the hallway, right in front of our room, someone had left a half‑full glass of alcohol. The hallway smelled like alcohol when we arrived, and the glass stayed there almost our entire two‑night stay. Breakfast was included, but if we wanted warm food, we had to heat it ourselves in a microwave. I didn’t know that on the first day and ate my pancake cold. The sky‑view lounge was also disappointing: a small enclosed room with no fresh air and a noticeable smell. The view of the fireworks was nice, but the room was so crowded we ended up watching from the hallway. Overall, this was far from a luxury experience. If anything, it felt like a tour of what used to be a luxury hotel.

The staff was very friendly and helpful all through the night. I had flight issues and the staff left a turnover report for the next shift and kept the process going without any hiccups

On arrival into Buffalo, my friend and I were held up at the airport due to an item being left on the aircraft. As it was past midnight, no one was there and we had to stay at the airport and get their help when they opened the next morning. When I explained my situation to this hotel, the lady who answered my call was very gracious in helping me hold my room, and even gave us an hour extension when we arrived at 6am the following morning so that we could get some rest after our ordeal. It was because of her help that I was put at ease during my ordeal, and I would like to thank the staff for that. Only complaint is the breakfast location, I found it rather small considering the crowd level, and we ended up waiting for quite a while before a table became vacant.
