Start off with the fact that I have two small dogs and they cost $75 each. So that doubled the price of the room. The room wasn’t ready and it seemed like the staff was confused about what would be ready. Then Marriott has decided that you can’t plug in a Roku or game system without the tv being auto set to full volume. Then, after I called down to ask for a late check out, at 8:19 am the staff decided to knock on the door to see if I’ve already checked out, which made all the dogs bark and wake up my sleeping infants. Why did I pay over $300 for this idiocy. This Marriott needs a new manager.

Passable

Everything about the location, room, and actual hotel itself. Very clean. No comp breakfast or evening happy hour with snacks and drinks, oh the fact nothing mentioned parking fee until I got there. $15 a for parking is crazy.

When I requested linens for the bed, I was told that I had to go downstairs to the front desk to pick them up myself. We also requested toilet paper and were told that the hotel had run out. These issues made our stay uncomfortable and gave us the impression that the room had not been thoroughly cleaned or properly prepared before our arrival. I expected much better cleanliness, basic supplies, and customer service from a Marriott property.

I would say it was just average. You can tell in the rooms that it is getting older and slightly run down. Just because a newer shower curtain (which was already stained) is hung in the bathroom, we can still see the stains on the walls, the old paint and dingy vent and poorly cut access panels. the floor under the bed could have been and should have been cleaner. If you're paying more than $180 a night, paying for parking, no breakfast included and not using house keeping I think we could expect a little better cleaning on the rooms for turn around. Replace duvet covers and curtains that are stained! the complimentary water was empty in the lobby a few of us let staff know however it didn't get filled until the next morning. also rm 233 has a window that just faces the rooftop AHU and disconnects switches, the room was dark. new floors though, not carpet thank goodness.

The room itself was unacceptable. There was garbage left in the trash can, food still in the refrigerator from a previous guest, what appeared to be feces on one of the walls, brown spots on the floor, and the floors felt sticky. The refrigerator didn’t work, even after we unplugged it and plugged it back in. Because it never got cold, our drinks stayed warm and our leftover food spoiled. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was to enjoy the “heated” pool before our evening plans, but it was extremely cold and clearly not heated, making it unpleasant to use. To make matters worse, you have to pay additional fees for parking, Wi-Fi, and breakfast. Paying extra for these amenities is frustrating when the hotel falls so far short on cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service. This experience did not reflect the quality or hospitality we’ve come to expect from Marriott
