Motel 6 Normal, IL - Bloomington Area

First room wasn’t cleaned, it was a mess. Hot another room and mold in the bathroom it was not good

Not clean, shower had hair in it. Staff were not helpful, but it is a motel 6 so you get what you pay for. Just needed a quick overnight stay.

Needs to be renovated and cleaned properly

The location is the only good thing this motel has going. Where to start???!! The staff is completely disrespectful and flat out rude The very first Night the first room was roach infested and the room I was moved across from was just on fire from electrical issues and my room was engulfed in flames and when I complained they tried to make my dog being there an issue when it say pets welcome

Nothing The owner was very judgemental of myself and treated male guests 100 percent better.

Room was a $60/nite rat trap. Room flooring was cracked in front of the bathroom, Shower stall was deplorable, cracked walls, dirty. Had to get the motel rep to get the TV to work and then it cut out every 15-30 minutes and had to be restarted

Stay away from this motel six it’s nothing like it shown on the website it’s nasty.

If I could give a -5 I would have. The bathroom was filthy. My feet stuck to the floors. The faucet didn’t work in the sink. Shower had rust all around it. The mirror was rusted all along the bottom. The hair dryer cord was burnt. Nothing in the room had been dusted for a long time. I found a bug in the bed. Long Black hair in the sink (mine is short and gray). If I hadn’t of arrived overly tired and very late…I would have left. I booked a head of time and photos made the place look good. That certainly was not the case! Never again!!!

We were traveling for a wrestling camp in town so we reserved two rooms next door to each other. Upon arrival to the rooms the maintenance man was present and although tried to helpful was invasive to say the least. One of our rooms smelled highly of mold and cigarette smoke. The bathroom floor was flooded and the should was in a condition that I would not have even got in with my flip flops on. The second room smelled the same but the floor felt like there was a layer grease on it and was dirty and slick. The floors in both rooms had not been swept in some time. We asked for two new rooms that also smelled. The maintenance man followed and then kept coming in both of the new rooms. Again the floors were filthy. We requested refunds for both rooms. The attendant first tried to argue that the two new rooms were clean but ultimately gave us a refund. The fact that the maintenance was continued to follow us from room to room and was inserting himself into our rooms kept us from feeling safe and secure. Not to mention he was obviously intoxicated. Would not recommend this facility.

Roaches all over dirty sheets bathroom was filthy

Bathroom shower had chipped paint and the exhaust had no cover. Saw roaches. Smelled funky, sheets had stains and getting extra towels was a hassle. Walls of the whole hotel were extremely dirty.

Everything was filthy, floors (not swept or mopped), residue on baseboards, smelly (cheese residue) microwave. Stained mattress covers. Nasty debri and dead roach in trash bin. Hair on the bedsheets. Hallway smelled of urine. Very unpleasant and uncomfortable experience.

Also, the room was nothing to write home about and there were dead roaches that could be seen in the hallways throughout the bottom floor. They also did not have a pool or hot tub like was said online and in the advertising pictures that they had posted. Parts of the buildings outside surface was falling off. The pictures posted online do not compared to the real crap hole this place was. I would book anywhere else but here if you need to stay in Bloomington for any reason!!!

Nothing Wifi was terrible. TV reception awful. When I asked for someone to look at the TV the curly haired boy from the front desk accused me of breaking the TV. That place is filthy dirty.

NOTHING!!! It stunk SO SO BAD! NO CLEANING EVER They didn’t even restock our room for night two, the bed cover was stained and had others ppls hair on it!! Looked like some blood as well. Very very gross and I had to buy stuff at the store to make it tolerable! It STUNK

Recently renovated? No way! Don't stay here, it's a dump! Couldn't even get the room door open without kicking it. Check in lady was polite. We didn't stay the night because we were so disgusted. We checked out and left.

The location was good They wouldn't let my teenagers stay in the original room since it was I've bed made me purchase a room for them. Wouldn't give us towels the second day and no housekeeping. Only I've key for an entire family. When we moved the yeah can there was car food under it. We were working 16 for days at a festival we just needed to lay our heads down n shower... Very rude! It was cheap, but I've stayed in cheap hotels where they are nice and accommodating.
