This place is falling apart and unclean. The room was dirty with a rusty razor blade sitting near the sink and stained towels/washcloths. There’s a dripping leak in the workout room and breakfast was nothing but dry cereal/waffles/oatmeal with no protein. Never going back.

I enjoyed my stay and like the owners

Was put in a room with unmade beds and trash all over. Literal trash. We were so disgusted we asked to cancel our reservation and front desk refused. They took my money but we didn't stay. They would not give me management contact information because they said they were "busy" with personal issues. Horrible place. Please do not book a stay here.

The photos are very deceiving! The 1st room my kids and I were put in was extremely dirty. It had food on the floor, stains on the bedsheets, hair in the shower, and missing tiles in the bathroom. Went down and said something at the front desk and they put us in a 2nd room that was also dirty. The room had drugs in the dresser, missing tiles in the bathroom, the shower was black, and smelled like smoke. We were too disgusted to take photos. They refused to refund us when we weren’t able to stay there. Not a safe environment for children. There were also other people checking out due to dirty rooms.

Recommend a remodel the room felt like a scene from a bad murder mystery movie.

When we finally got to our room, it looked nothing like the pictures advertised online. The room itself was outdated and not very clean. The bathroom appeared poorly renovated, with obvious sloppy workmanship that made it feel unfinished and unkempt. The pool area was by far the worst part. The water had chunks of hair floating in it, and it was obvious the pool hadn’t been cleaned or maintained in quite some time. The surrounding pool area was also dirty and looked like it hadn’t been swept or cared for in a long while. The hallways were just as bad—they looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in a very long time. Outside, the parking lot was littered with trash, and the overflowing garbage cans made a terrible first impression. Overall, the hotel was dirty, poorly maintained, and nothing like what was advertised. Between the lack of customer service and the cleanliness issues, I would not recommend staying here.

I’m sorry to say that it was unfortunately a very unkept property. Mainly the outdoors and lobby area. With that being said, the staff were very nice, the bedding was nice, clean, cool and white. The room was just so so. The coffee in the morning was great and the breakfast was not horrible. You get what you get for the money.

The staff was polite, and helpful but the hotel was very expensive for a low quality hotel. Will not recommend this facility to other people. The main lights in the room didn’t work, the pool was indoors yet still freezing cold, and housekeeping refused more than 1 towel for person for our 5 day stay. The breakfast was low quality, and the beverage machine was broken. Almost all the fun equipment was broke. No service anywhere in or out, WiFi sucks. The parking situation was tight and too small. We had to park in the hotel next door. We stayed 5 days, 4 nights and housekeeping never cleared our trash or changed our linens once. There is also multiple floors with no elevator. Luckily we got the first floor, but most customers were blindsided by the lack of elevator. The hotel staff lived in the building and had young toddler age children running loose in the common areas, and had trash and toys and personal belongings littering the outdoors of the building. Also, the “laundry amenity” cost extra money! The tv got maybe 5 Chanel’s that actually worked and didn’t lag out terribly.

After finally receiving our room assignment, we discovered that the room door was locked from the inside and we were unable to enter. The front desk called maintenance, and the maintenance employee had to forcibly break into the room. (which all was done in front of us) He informed us that the safety latch had been damaged during the process and advised us to rely on the deadbolt for security. At that point, nearly an hour had passed since our arrival. Given the condition of the room, the damaged security lock, and the overall experience, we did not feel safe or comfortable staying at the property. As a result, we chose to leave and drive over an hour back home, despite needing to return the next day for my daughter’s second day of Illinois State University orientation.

I will not be staying at this property again.

Beds are very comfortable. Rooms need improvements. I did inform front desk but there was a giant divet entering room 143 bathroom. It’s covered with carpet so you don’t see it but I literally almost bit it 2x going to the bathroom cause it’s a good inch deep divet and probably 8 inches wide. Dangerous. AC is loud. My dead bolt was broken and there were stains on the comforter. However, it was a place to stay for the night. Also, the breakfast included isn’t a breakfast. I saw three things of yogurt. Again, if you want a quick and convenient place to sleep - go for it. However, I would not stay there again with my spouse or children. I didn’t feel comfortable walking anywhere in the room without shoes on and I didn’t even shower cause I felt the bathroom was dirty, even though it was probably all rust stains. Toliet also wouldn’t flush without holding handle down. Also, side entrance door glass is all cracked and wouldn’t close without force.

There are no elevators and we were put on the second floor. We had to carry all our belongings up a set or stairs.

We started off with trying to check in at an un-manned front desk in the weirdest hotel “lobby” ever. I had to call twice on the phone to get anyone to come to the desk. Then the man was extremely slow and seemed very confused through the process. Despite having a beer & wine cooler at the desk he was unable to sell us one due to not having a license….? We finally got our room key and found our way through the strangest 1988 flashback hallway tour to what we thought was our room (based on the sign saying 220-228 —-> and found a room with no knob and no key fob. Come to find out the rooms are numbered weird and 227 was next to 201 on the OTHER side. Anyway. Got in after a very rude talk on the phone with someone the clerk had to call to help us and found an old, dingy, and smoke-smelling room. Needless to say I won’t stay again. Would have been understandable for maybe a $90 stay but this stay cost nearly $200. No thanks.

The beds were fine but the door bolt lock was brok and there was no door chain. The bathroom door didn't latch either.
-
Parking lot was covered in grass, window air conditioner was rusted, there were clothes strewn across the front entrance, the smell was bad
