Hampton Inn & Suites Bloomington - Normal

Mold in my shower and closet door was broken. Ice machine on 2nd floor also broken. Staff said on my departure that yes things are broken they start 11/6 til June 2027 floor by floor renovation. Staff were very nice but glad it was only a 1 night stay. You can hear everything in the rooms next to you!

Hospitality was great from all the people who worked there. Breakfast was so delicious 😋

There were holes in the wall, loose bathroom hardware on the vanity with screws and nails.

Clean room and delicious breakfast! The room was a little bit dated but clean and comfortable.

This Hampton is old and needs a refresh.

It was convenient to shopping, dining and campus activities. It is run down and in disrepair. Just plain dirty. The carpet needs to be replaced. The wallpaper is pulling away from the seems. I was reassigned rooms 3 times. The first door was so stuck and the next had someone already in.

Checkin was smooth - lobby area was nice. Got to the room and we thought the key card was not working went back down to get it reactivated but turns out the door had an issue with sticking. Took both of us to push it to open. Room was as fine but the bathroom shower was disgusting. There was still hair in there and it had mold around it. The hallway carpet could use a good cleaning as well.

Polite staff and easy check in. We especially liked the room size. Spacious and nice that we had a microwave and fridge. Some stains on hallway carpet outside of the room should be carpet cleaned.

Clean rooms and comfortable beds . I was able to check in earlier than I thought..

We were in town for family weekend at ISU so the location was perfect. Great breakfast and helpful and friendly staff. Was disappointed our TV did not work and got no answer at the desk when we tried to call for service. The shower needed new caulking and not the greatest showerhead. The toilet was super low to the floor. Perhaps a handicapped room would have a taller one? Bed was comfortable. Would stay again despite the few issues we experienced.

The hallway carpet really needs to be cleaned. Lots of stains all the way down the hallway. If this was cleaned I would give it more stars. The bed was very comfortable.

Very poorly maintained property. No thermostat on air conditioner. The lock on the bathroom door did not work. There were supposed to be 4 shelves for bathroom towels. The top shelf was installed. The lower three shelves were missing.

Parking,staff and breakfast were good. Room and facilities needs updated and repaired.

Staff was nice. I got violently sick within 20 minutes of eating the hard boiled eggs….just in time for me to be in the middle of my office. Also night lights, dysfunctional ac, and lumpy bed made it nearly impossible to sleep either night.

Staff members extremely concerned and exceptionally nice location for my family was center !! Downfall building needs building facelift and staff agreed and we found out getting a total face left October this year thru June 2027

The only thing that I wasn't expecting was no USB charging in the room, in used to not having to bring a power block anymore as much hotels have USB charging on most nightstand lighting

Staff was helpful, the amenities are fine, the property is clean, and the location is central. But the hotel is really showing its age with the general condition of the room interior. May need a refresh soon.
