Best Western Plus Bloomington East Hotel

difficult to find positives broken elevator, put us on 3rd floor, we are older bathroom faucet cam out in 3 sprays. toilet did not want to flush. staff unhelpful, curt! could have been a cultural issue.

The elevator is broken, you have to take the stairs which are accessed by an outside door that's not secure... ya think that's why I ran into homeless folk in the hall??? Wow

The staff was very rude while checking in and only after we checked in were we told the elevator was broken...and we were staying on the 3rd floor.

The elevator was out of service, I was given a room in the 3rd floor, phones didn’t work, I needed an iron and couldn’t call the front desk,

Missing soap both at sink and in the shower, no conditioner. Towels older and not soft.

The only redeeming quality was the on-site EV charger. The room smelled like mold. The shower curtain got wet and smelled like urine. The HVAC buttons wouldn't work. The TV was set to the darkest color level, so you couldn't see it, and you couldn't change the color brightness. It was a terrible experience. Thankfully, it was only one night. If any other hotels had vacancies, I would have paid to stay at another.

Got to my first room - 225 - broken deadbolt. Asked for a new room. Second room - 227 - was warm and the A/C set to 64 only slightly cooled it. Sheets were scratchy. In the morning, got in the shower - no conditioner or body wash. Breakfast was awful - coffee machine dirty - told the guy at the front desk desk about the shower items and he said it would be a couple of hours before housekeeping arrived. Drove to Kroger to get a few breakfast items, stopped at Starbucks for coffees. When I got back to the room, housekeeping was in the hall. Told them about the shower items - seemed news to them. Let them in the room and they refilled. OR SO I THOUGHT. Next morning - no conditioner still. I got out of there ASAP. Other guests I spoke with agreed they would not be back.

The bathroom sink was slow to drain so the stopper needs pulled out and cleaned as it also stunk. Beds were stained and covers did not look clean. Plus there were some crumbs in the bed. Had to go buy bedding from Target. Floor by the bed had a dead bug in the corner. Tile part of the flooring was sticky.

Location was good Elevator was not working all 4 days Bed was uncomfortable and scratchy sheets Hallway carpets were filthy Pool was not able to be used because it was green and filled with algae Not all outlets in the room worked No exhaust fan in the bathroom

Only elevator was out of service and to get to the stairs you have to go outside. Hotel needs a renovation. Was told it’s been 8 years by the manager . Not up to BW standards

Close to shopping ,safe parking, rooms clean and comfortable

The room was clean. The breakfast was fine and the dining area was pleasant. The elevator was not working. We were on the second floor so had to use the stairs. The stairways opened directly to the parking lot with no security at the top or bottom. The stairway closest to our room was obviously used as a smoking lounge. It was dirty and smelly with garbage left on the stairs.

The hotel was nice looking at surface level. Decent breakfast. Clean room. Pleasant counter staff. The elevator wasn’t working. A lady who stays there said it hadn’t worked all summer. Exposed electrical in the stairwell. Signs state no smoking, but one stairwell had a very strong smell of marijuana. Stairwells dirty. Pool green and gross.

The elevator was out of service and the bathroom products were empty and my air conditioning wasn’t working properly and the breakfast wasn’t great will never stay there again

Room not clean- bar of soap was left in the shower. Stain on the wall pool needs to be drained

No elevator. My room wasn’t serviced. Most of the equipment in the fitness room didn’t work. Walls are paper thin so hard to sleep.
