Best Western Plus Bloomington East Hotel

The room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.

It’s was a cool hotel with a great location.

The room didn't have any ventilation. A lot of gnats and the carpet on the floor had a lot of moisture and dirty. Like they took a dirty mop and wiped the carpet with it. I couldn't wait to leave. I wouldn't stay again!

We checked in around 4:30 in the afternoon to find out that the elevator was broken. It would not be repaired for at least three days. We were only given one option of one room left, which was on the top floor of the building. It is a three-story high hotel. We were also told that the only access was through an outside door stairwell that was not secured to the public. Anybody could've gotten inside the building. Also the door handles to one of the floors was broken off. We were only staying for one night and I was put in a real bind because the other hotels in the area were sold out.

Nothing about this hotel did I like Bed bugs. Elevators were down and to reach the floors you had to access stairs on the outside of the building which were not locked and anyone could access them as there were no locks for hotel stayers protection

The elevator was down, we were told that the only room available was on the 3rd floor. When we tried to access the room, it seemed to be locked from the inside. We were then given a room on the first floor. The facility was clean enough. This is a budget establishment, and you get what you pay for.

Room needed several item to be maintained (I mentioned this at checkout). Very loud Guest in hallway right outside our door from 12:00-12:30 am. Phone was inoperable and not sure I wanted to inject myself into an argument. Finally doors slammed and they went in their room.

The only good thing was breakfast.

The property was run down. The lobby looked great and much newer than the rest. Our room had sticky stuff on the carpet and felt dirty.

The entry doors to rooms and side building doors do not close. Make sure you pull hard to ensure they are closed. The bathroom towel bar was broken and no food for breakfast at 7am

My disabled friend could not visit due to the elevators being down both days.

One of the better stays i have had in awhile.

Clean rooms, clean property. Staff was very nice. The hotel is a bit run down. Looks like some updates were made maybe 10-15 years ago. The outside landscaping is original and does not look to be very well maintained. The breakfast was okay. If you like powdered eggs. The other breakfast items were adequate, waffle iron, multiple bread items that you can toast, cereal, yogurt bar, and decent coffee.
