Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Norman near University

Bed was nice. Couch and chair needed to be replaced, had stains all over them. bathroom was clean. AC worked excellent!

I arrived at the the hotel at 7pm and was told my room wasn't ready. Very frustrating. But the staff member that was there was nice.

We stayed in room 102 and roaches crawled out from behind the mirror in the wall. The pool is "closed for maintenance" and the pillows are not comfortable and the sheets are stained. This place is gross. NEVER AGAIN.

Great stay. AC worked great. Only issue. Small TV with hardly any channels. And the pool was out of service. Other than that, great place

The room was clean enough, the air conditioning was awful, it was hot in the room. The water was ice cold, the water heaters were not working, so a cold shower was all you got. I have stayed there 4 times in the last year & the pool is closed for maintenance every time. I will not stay there again.

Clean room, very convenient and affordable

The room we stayed in was supposed to be non- Smoking, but there was a stiff smell of smoke that was coming through the air vent.

There was not hot water, it was a cold shower. It was clean and spacious room though.

Staff was friendly. Lots of college guys in parking lot. Very disappointed the Pool was closed

It’s not really nice but it’s not bad either. Definitely needs up grade. The paint job needs a little work. The bathroom plug was broken. The under sheets were stained. Other than that it was decent.

We stayed a few days and then our transmission died so we were waiting on a vehicle, and to get into our Airbnb, but check in was a couple of hours. So we needed to stay in the lobby and out of the 91 degree heat due to our 12 month old baby. The earlier lady was permissive, but it wasn't until Jordan threatened my wife and called the cops on her claiming she was loitering. No options were given, no additional days, rental of the pool, or anything. Just very rude antagonistic anti service. She was breastfeeding our son and Jordan woke him up with the loud threats and then he gawked at her as she sat exposed on the couch. He claimed it wasn't his fault and he didn't care. No compassion, no consideration. Really awful. I've never seen service this horrible personally before. The rooms themselves were less than ideal, with strange red stains on the walls and near the sockets, the shampoo kept dripping in the shower, and the overall level of maintenance was just low for the building. I didn't realize it would be worse then staying at a cheap motel. A motel 6 would have been better. The pool was supposed to be open, but had a maintenance sign saying it was closed. There was a torn up and derelict ceiling in the lobby. And the breakfast was awful. The second worst continental I've ever had. The only good thing was how close it was to Ray's BBQ

Staff was not very pleasant. They were arguing with another customer in the lobby about a receipt. They said they would clean the rooms every other day and never came to clena our room or refresh towels etc. Pool was closed for "maintinece" workers on their phone and not paying attention to guest we waited 5 minutes for him to look up from his cell phone to assist us.

I’m not even sure where to start, honestly. When we got into our room, I noticed there weren’t any towels. I called the front desk, but there wasn’t an answer. My son then told me that the bathroom door wouldn’t shut; I thought that was odd, but went to check it out. Sure enough, the top hinge was loose, so we had to lift the door in order to fully close it! I walked down to the front desk to report both items (towels and door), and was assured they would be taken care of when we returned from our graduation ceremony. We returned to our room around 9:30pm, and neither situation had been handled. I tried to call down to the front desk, but no answer (again). I walked down, and this time was told there were towels in the dryer and to come back in 40 minutes. My son and his friend walked down at that time, and were told they had all been given out. Excuse me, what? They told the person working that I had requested 2 towels; apparently he was extremely rude to them, but eventually gave them 2 towels for the room. The door was never fixed during our stay. I find it frustrating that I could never get ahold of anyone via phone, and that the front desk staff were all rude and dismissive of my requests. AND, to top it off, the pool was closed! 0 ⭐️, would not recommend!

WE HAD TO ASK FOR CLEAN TOWELS EVERY DAY. I DON'T THINK THEY HAD ENOUGH STAFF. BREAKFAST WAS SKIMPY SELECTION.

It was an adequate stay for one night and would stay again for the favorable pricebut…the pool was closed and I assume also the gym because the key pad didn’t work for it. .i was near an outside door and the key pad didn’t work so I couldn’t come in and out the door. There were no large towels or floor mat in my room, only hand towels. Finally and most importance… Expedia advertises that the checkout time for this room is 12 PM and all of my Expedia documents say 12 PM. However, as I was getting ready at 11 AM, first the housekeeping, and then the front desk came knocking on my door and calling through the door for me. They informed me that checkout time was 11 AM and when I told them that all of my documentation stated 12 PM they said they had instructed Expedia to change the time. I told them that I would get ready as quickly as I could and vacate the room, but I did not love this experience of a nice easy morning getting cut short by being abruptly asked to leave before I was ready. Either Expedia needs to immediately update their information or the hotel needs to allow Expedia guests to stay until noon. This was an unpleasant surprise.

Little bit older but a good place to stay. The staff were friendly. We did have a loose handle, the lock side, in our bathroom and did inform the front desk staff about it when we checked out. We didn't break it! We stayed here for the Luke Combs concert. Breakfast is available in the mornings. We definitely would stay there again if ever in the area again.

Pool was closed, key kept deactivating, it was one annoyance after another. Staff was hard to find at times. For the price I paid, you'd think they would have the place together.
