Had to switch rooms 2 times because facility is not kept in very good shape

Nothing Everything they gave our room to another guest who was already in the room so we had to go back downstairs and yes we had to take the stairs with all our luggage because the elevators weren't working all weekend there was issues with the elevators getting stuck our room was clean location was good breakfast was nasty and they ran out of towels and there was never any staff around to help with issues

Breakfast For a reservation for 3 adults, I did not expect to have plastic on one bed, and the stopper did not work in the sink.

Exceptional

Everything was great! Plenty of places around the hotel for eating and shopping.

We expected more from Holiday Inn Express. We’ve used Expedia and other discount sites for years, but it seems like that means we’re placed in old rooms which are the farthest away. I guess that makes sense considering we’re getting a discount. Breakfast was not replenished for the entire breakfast time. No attendants. No bath towels. We were told to go find a maid to get them. Keys didn’t work, so we spent a lot of time going from far end of 3rd floor to front desk.

Need more towels left in rooms. Trash under counter had not been emptied.

The room was very musty and humid and smelled very bad. Carpet was sticky and dirty. Smelled like weed outside and very bad in the elevators. Our room key stopped working the second night of our 3 night stay because at check in was programmed wrong. Had to wait for 20 minutes late at night to get keys fixed and get into our room because there was no person at the front desk. There was also kids running the halls every night and slamming doors until 1am. The parking lot felt very unsafe due to the fact of many people having parties in the parking lot drinking and smoking weed and leaving no room for parking.

Breakfast was great, tables and food stations were clean. Room was quiet. Bedframe was broken, but had driven 13 hours amd gotten in very late, so made it work. Some work had been done to the room, so assumed the broken bed frame was due to previous guest damage.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, great staff and property location.

Not enough towels for a family on the family suite. We went to check in at 4:00 and our room wasn't ready. We left and came back about 5:00 and it was ready. Only one person at front desk so we had to wait several times. Breakfast had a great variety and was tasty,even though the dining room was very full. Overall a good experience. I was hoping the hot tub was working but was under repair.

If we had suspected these issues when we checked in we would have cancelled and found another place.

Room had no AC we didn’t stay there

When I arrived at the hotel, they could not locate my booking reservation although I had received a confirmation email from Booking.com so we decided just to book me directly there on site cause after 10 or 15 minutes the hotel still could not locate my reservation. I ended up being charged twice by booking.com so there must’ve been a glitch with the system that day plus the direct booking at the hotel I reached out multiple times and cannot get anybody to refund me or even credit me a night at the hotel or two actually since I paid for one night three separate times, but Booking.com nor the hotel has tried to remedied the issue

Hotel was getting painted which did make it look a little better. There was no water left in the rooms or even for sale, the hot tub was broken and my room had 1 towel.
