Days Hotel by Wyndham North Bergen /NYC Area

The room was large and comfortable with a safe too. There was also a small gym to get a sweat on before breakfast. The main downside was getting to the hotel using public transport which means going through the Port Authority Bus Terminal on 42nd St. That was the only place in Manhattan we felt unsafe. Always double check the buses actually go to 31st/JFK boulevard because not all do, we spent plenty of time walking around that dark hellhole because we'd been steered the wrong way. There's also a 10 minute walk from the bus stop to the hotel but there's an Aldi on the way to have a pitstop. All in all a pleasant experience but maybe an Uber/Lyft subscription would be an idea

Pleasent staff, check in is always smooth, rarely come across issues. Breakfast got a good upgrade since my first time, and it's def a major piece of the package/hotel. They have a good assortment. The rooms are clean. Have been having marital issues so this is where I choose to go on the nights I "can't be home". Peaceful. Family friendly. Love that the rooms are sound proof. The only complaints I got and why I gave amenities a 3 and the general maintenance of place, is because that pool needa open. Would definitely give it the 4th star if the pool was at least open and empty. Otherwise this is an excellent place to stay.

I was there June 26th to June 28th, during World Cup. The room was perfectly clean with an everyday service (full soap, shampoo, conditioner, lot of towel). The breakfast was awsome (eggs, sausages, waffle, fruits, etc). Always full and warm. People at the front desk answered my 2000 questions about the area, restaurants and how to get to the closest New York shuttle services. They was very polite. If I go back to NYC or New Jersey to watch a game I will book there for sure.

The location is excellent for getting to Manhattan, Times Square, and other attractions. The staff were very helpful in explaining how to get to Port Authority, since most guests leave their vehicles at the hotel and use public transportation to travel into Manhattan. The breakfast is decent, and the hotel has a very large cafeteria area.

While the staff were helpful and friendly, the place definitely lags behind with cleanliness. The property is old and can do with some sprucing up instead of quick fixes. The AC worked intermittently despite being set to a lower temperature. However, we weren’t around much during the day and the nights were cooler so we didn’t complain about the AC. Overall a good experience but could definitely get better.

Location and clean

I stayed here because it was close to hospital in NYC. The breakfast eggs and sausage were cold. The walls in the room are peeling. The elevator could only fit 2-3 average people without luggage. Too close for comfort.

The hotel was good but getting to Manhattan was a little difficult.

I took my niece for her dream vacation to New York. This hotel was very conveniently located. The staff was amazing. The room was very clean. Everything was accommodating. I will definitely return.

Had a pleasant stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The only drawback was that there was no laundry facility available. Overall, a good experience and I would recommend this hotel.
