Hyatt Place North Charleston

Clean updated rooms, less so in halls. Pretty good hot breakfast with several options. Have to put towels in hall to get fresh ones, and room cleaning.

Staff was great. Didn’t get to enjoy breakfast (overslept). Wish the restaurant was open.

This hotel was very clean. The room was spacious and quiet. The pool was on the cool side but not cold. Breakfast was good. There were some issues. One of the two elevators was out of service so longer wait times. The roll cart was difficult to push and turn and only 2 available. There were carpet places in the hallway that were unraveling a bit. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

They elevator was very slow only 1 works

Had a great experience the room was clean and roomy. Comfortable bed and pillows. We loved the location as well. Would definitely recommend.

Elevators were very slow and Breakfast was terrible. They never had enough food meaning they ran out of food items early. The justification was the delivery truck was late or delayed. That could be the case one day however if so you adjust.

The bedding was old and had permanent stains. We had to change sheets ourselves. The bathroom needed a better cleaning, with random hair and dirt in the corners. When we arrived, only one elevator was working, and it was moving slowly. At check-out, both elevators were broken. Had to carry all our luggage downstairs.

The Hyatt was very nice except there was only one elevator working. The continental breakfast was awesome and overall stay was great! Staff were very kind and friendly.

Breakfast was good location in the heart of north Charleston The 250 deposit because I live in SC was not expected nor needed. That should only be needed if paying cash. For incidentals.

Great welcome from staff especially the night shift on Friday and Saturday night! Very warm and welcoming! Room was nice and chill once arrived! Super comfy bed and pillows! Don’t like the closet door missing in the room. Also did not like how the bathroom door could not open all the way. Really didn’t like how the tv didn’t work, no easy accessible water fountain (had to go to the guy to get water and the room didn’t smell great.) REALLY disliked that 1/2 elevator not working and the one that was, extremely slow!!

Great location and very clean hotel

The price of what I paid was not worth the experience. Elevators did not work, WiFi was out, crowded.

Nothing No hot water in shower. Mold on the window and wall beside the bed and only one working elevator took foreverrrr to get up and down. They changed the Check in to 3pm- not a problem but we arrived at 330 and the room was still not ready for check in ... was told to wait... I asked if they could call us when it was ready and they never did.. I walked in at 4pm and miraculously it just came ready. Never again will I ever stay at a Hyatt

We were assigned a room that had not been cleaned or serviced. The rooms are nice, but the ironing board was destroyed and elevator painfully long wait.

Breakfast was fantastic!

Check in was stated as 4pm (OK - I get it), however, when we arrived around 1.30 we were told there were no rooms ready (check out is 11am...). Fine - where can we store our luggage?.....answer - you can't!! We don't do luggage storage as we cant accept liability for stolen / lost luggage. More astoundingly poor customer service. Compare and contrast to Hampton Inn where we stayed the next night. Love Hyatt Place for their rooms, but need to really improve their customer service / front staff based on this experience.
