Loved how close it was to the Coliseum. Walking distance.

We enjoyed our stay. They really need to do an upgrade on their mattresses and ONE microwave was not enough for the entire hotel! Especially with it being a holiday weekend. I know the Sonesta Suites Hotel have a microwave on each floor near the ice machine. Tru may need to think of this option.

The room was extremely small and I knocked my knee on the edge of bed at least 20 times. No closet or drawer space for clothes. Only a long shelf on side of wall that we had to keep our suitcases there open to get clothes out. No Kitchen area with microwave or space for our food or other items, no counter space for any of our supplies. No coffee in room. Called Front desk immediately was told all rooms are like that the intent is not for extended stay but for short days with a condescending voice. We were there for six days. I was happy that they had wood floors but once something was spilled, I went to clean it up and the rag was black and nasty! The whole stay we stayed in socks and every socks ended up being black, and every time we went to clean something off the floor was black and nasty. No washer and dryer so we can at least wash our nasty socks or clothes. That floor is never mopped! The first night I slept on bed I felt things biting me all night. My husband sprayed alcohol on sheets and blankets. Counters and bathroom was nasty that I had to clean up before using. The first morning we went to eat breakfast, I was helping my grandkids to get their food and noticed the eggs and sausage was almost empty and saw the lady coming up to re-fill so I stood there and she gave me this look and said, "second round"? I said no I'm waiting for you to add the fresh food. She was rude and had a bad attitude the 2-3 days we saw her. Wonderful DEI hires! Never again!

Ok the staff were very kind and helpful. The room was fair. It was more of an old structure with new paint sort of situation. It could use a thorough professional cleaning in the bathroom but it was tolerable for the weekend. It was weird that I went out for the day and when I returned all the clean towels in the bathroom were missing. I had to call to the front desk for more. However the bed was not made and my dirty towel was still in the floor so I couldn’t understand who was in my room bc I’d assume house keeping would just take the towels and leave the bed messy and the dirty towels in the room. But anyway it was a pleasant stay and I’d return again.

Convenient to coliseum. Needs a way to darken rooms. Privacy shade wasn't enough.

Excellent service! The agent at the front desk was very welcoming and w/o even asking he made sure he added my registration towards my Hilton membership. Nice clean highly recommended

It was as expected.

Rooms were kept spotless. Staff went over and beyond to make sure we were happy. Hot breakfast was great. And plenty of parking.
