BIg room, great for families with children. High Quality Gym, Free Laundry Soap, pool was nice, Really central.

This hotel was fabulous from the staff, beautiful rooms, movie night at the pool and meals at The Front Porch restaurant. My daughter and I had a great time spending the 4th July weekend at this hotel. We were able to see the universal studios 4th of July fireworks from are room. I would definitely stay back here next year.

This hotel was great! The pool, restaurant and bar were wonderful. I love that there were activities that you could participate in. The room was clean and comfortable. We loved the free shuttle to Universal, it was so convenient! All the staff were very kind amd helpful

We had a great stay. Very convenient for Universal Studios, and the shuttle was awesome. Loved the hot tub. Happy it was available by 6am! Breakfast options are great. Wonderful stay!

Hidden gem near Hollywood!! I will definetely go back!! Take the trolly to Universal Studios or City walk for free... had I known this on our first day at the park..(we stayed at a different place)..I would have stayed at the Garland instead and saved 60 bucks for parking at Universal. The grounds are beautiful...very much a magical and expensive feeling. Food was good. A bit bland.. but it was still enjoyable.

The Garland is one of our favorite hotels anywhere. After 3 separate visits we have not been disappointed. We love staying at this fun property when we attend events at the Hollywood Bowl and do some site seeing. We also love the Front Porch, attached to the hotel!

The property is wonderful and well maintained. The staff is everywhere, helpful, and polite. We enjoy coming here and will continue to do so due to the amenities and location.

The 1970s look and feel, and yet the contemporary amenities and food and service, just made for such a fun and relaxing stay. We're a couple with two younger teenage kids, and this place was perfect. Add in the trolley service and the walking tour of the neighborhood, and it was excellent value. It felt more like a resort than a hotel. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at The Garland and would definitely return! The staff was outstanding—friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. Our room was spotless, comfortable, with great A/C, a large TV, and a modern, spacious shower. The free trolley to Universal Studios Hollywood was a huge plus. It runs hourly from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM to the park and returns from 8:15 AM to 10:15 PM. The hotel is only about 1.5 miles from Universal, with easy access to the Hollywood Sign and the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The pool area is beautiful, featuring a large pool, a poolside bar, and two hot tubs—one for adults and one for families. There’s also a well-equipped gym with cardio machines, weight machines, and free weights. We really enjoyed the restaurant as well. The breakfast buffet offers plenty of tasty options at a reasonable price. Overall, The Garland exceeded our expectations with its excellent service, comfortable rooms, great amenities, and convenient location. Highly recommended!

It’s a nice hotel but the 70s look is looking out dated and over priced for what it offers.

The hot tub was way. To hot it caused me to over heat and the fire dept had to come and check me out I was just over hot once I slept I was fine

Nice clean room. I really liked the funky 70’s orange colors but in a modern style. Breakfast was delicious. Plus just a few min from the Brady Bunch house :)

I loved the look of the hotel and so did my kids, the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The trolley to universal studios was a pleasant ride, The guy with a unique/ cool mustache played his awesome music and was so helpful. He assisted with taking our luggage to our room and was genuinely friendly and asked us about our trip. We will definitely be staying at the garland again. The pool and movie night was a plus. I do wish the hot tubs were bigger, I like the fact that they have one for adults and one for kids. The staff was always welcoming, smiling and friendly. We loved it! It was a memorable pleasant stay

Yes

The traffic noise is loud & the AC unit in our room sound as loud as a rocketship (it did help lessen the traffic noise). The Front Yard is sub-par - not kid friendly and the breakfast bar is overpriced for lame options.
