Excellent hotel. The pool is very nice, the rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable. The ac unit is old and a bit noisy. The door to the balcony is expensive but very difficult to use.

It was really clean and all the staff was really nice and accommodating. I didn't like the sliding doors. They were too hard to close and could hear the freeway. Also I don't like the lack of doors on the shower.

Beautiful property, fun retro decor, both pool bar/food and main restaurant were great, heated pool and the family hot tub was a nice temperature where I didn’t worry about my kid overheating. Loved the movie nights by the pool. Nice clean rooms, friendly staff. Universal Studios trolly was super helpful and if there were too many people to fit they you would come back and do another round. Wish a microwave would be included in a standard room.

Great amenities, wonderful staff, close to a restaurant, comfortable, and welcoming. I was in a room that was near some sort of mechanical apparatus. There were bangs every 3 minutes or so. And it never stopped. I could go to sleep, but would wake up to hear it again. It’s a good thing I did not spend too much time in the room.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the garland. It was a beautiful hotel. The staff was very accommodating. The concierge was a huge help in planning things for us to do while there. The restaurant The Front Yard was exceptional. So many comfortable places to relax. I didn’t want to leave.

We attended my niece’s wedding at the Garland. Get venue for outdoor wedding at their Beverly Park. Nice amenities: restaurant, pool and free local shuttle to Universal Studios and LA Metro Red. Friendly and helpful staff!!!
