The lobby was beautiful and recently redone. The front desk staff were all so nice and helpful. The hallways were old. Our room, while spacious, was not great. The pullout couch mattress was stained and pretty disgusting. One bed was so soft and seemed like it dipped down-every single time anyone would move it was so loud. The bathroom was big, but the tum was very old with the finish coming off in the tub, old grout in the tile floor, and not being all the way clean under the sink.

The property was good and the stay was fine. However, the breakfast and food service were not good at all. I simply tried to get a cup of coffee twice once morning and was ignored both times. When I asked if I could get a cup I was told to wait. I gave up and realized getting a cup of coffee was too much for the staff to handle. A miserable end to an otherwise pleasant stay.

The gym is one of the best hotel gyms I've seen. The location is good as well. The first room we were in had black mold growing in the bathroom, so that was fun. Even black mold aside, the bathroom overall was pretty gross, as was the couch/fold out bed. They were able to move us to another room thankfully. The bathroom was less gross, as was the couch/fold out bed.

However, I was pretty disappointed that the balcony did not have chairs on it and there were no chairs in the room to bring out so we could sit outside; that was the whole reason I chose a room with a balcony. It’s very odd to offer rooms with a balcony but not have them furnished at all for enjoyment / use during warmer months. Had I known, I might’ve chosen a different place to stay. Overall this is a wonderful hotel, I just wish we had been able to actually utilize the balcony.

I travel for business and personally regularly and I've never heard of such a policy. Especially, when booking through a third party such as Expedia. When I disagreed and demanded to speak with a more senior staff member, the agent told me to leave and that she would call the police if I didn't. As a Marriott Bonvoy member this type of treatment is unacceptable and inexcusable. I will not book with Marriott going forward and plan to file a formal complaint against the agent.

Check in took forever. After waiting for about 20 minutes for someone to come to reception, the customer in front of me held up the counter girl trying to solicit a visit to his room would she did not immediately dismiss while I stood there waiting. I got checked in I went up to my room it was one of those days where it was over 100 degrees the air conditioning was broken. I saw the girl from the counter in the hallway she was doing something with people in one of the rooms on the third floor. Told her the AC was broken I went back downstairs waited another 25 minutes to get a new room. Expensive hotel all I wanted to do was sleep and I lost an hour this nonsense.

No microwave in my room, even though the pictures on their website show one. The front desk informed me only suites have a microwave. The elevator had the control panel hanging askew with many missing bolts, my bathroom had broken and loose tile, the shower water valve spun 360 degrees and was almost impossible to adjust, and no free breakfast. $6 for a muffin?? Lastly, I had to checkout at 5 am. I waited at the front desk for about 2 minutes before a woman popped out of the office and loudly told me to leave my key on the front desk and that I shouldn’t be expecting much that early in the morning.

This property does not match its reputation or name. The driveway is full of deep potholes. The room lacked basic amenities. Most frustratingly, the room was clean on the surface but there was actual garbages under the bed. Housekeeping and management needs to step up.

The room had dust on the headboard. The pullout couch was terribly stained and disgusting looking. The room wasn’t even prepared.
