Staybridge Suites Philadelphia- Montgomeryville by IHG

Cleanness in general. Rooms not cleaned every day. Breakfast was poor - just after 9 am short of some items.

The only positive thing about this hotel was location, close to our destination. Our room was run down, and old. Don’t even know what I should start with. Carpet was dirty, curtains old and dusty. High chairs in the kitchen destroyed. Bathroom moldy and dirty. Bed was comfy but squeaky. Aircondition unit worked like a jet engine Front desk person not helpful at all. Asked for different room but I was told system was down and she could not give me another accommodation. It was supposed to be addressed the next day but nobody new anything about it Room has not been properly cleaned for a long time. Dust on everything. Honestly tried not to touch anything. With the price which we paid you would expect at least a clean rom. Food less than average.

I would not recommend this hotel to a friend, family member, or any other traveler. Walked in the staff said she had to turn off her movie to help us. Get in the room the furniture is broken, chipped, so overly used and worn the fabric all peeling. Not a clean place to just sit. The floors were literally sticky. Had gum old gum into the carpet. The bathroom was cleaned but the fan connected to the light would screech so you couldn't have the light on for any extended period of time. We also didn't have hot water - got warm never hot. This was miserable. My husband had asked why I chose this hotel and truthfully the pictures online are extremely different.

I wrote to the manager & assistant manager but never heard back from them. No recognition or apologies. We WON’T BOOK THEM AGAIN!!!

Breakfast was excellent….they even had carbonated soda on tap at the breakfast, which I think is a first for me! But the carpets throughout our room and the hotel were grimey! Will not recommend staying here….especially with children that play in the room in the floor!

Stayed here with our kids for a trip to visit family and it was great!

Overall it’s a great place to stay. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the staff was amazing and the amenities are great.

This was a fantastic facility. I had a two bedroom suite and it was awesome.

housekeeping came in everyday despite DND. changed towels everyday despite hanging them up. made the bed even after i made it. room had cat/pet smell. the room overall showed wear.

The bathroom needs more attention to it and the bed was okay but the bottom also needs attention, maybe buy newer sheets or skirts for the bottom. The front door is a bit difficult, you have to close it with force to make sure it’s shut. But otherwise it was okay

Very clean and quiet. Was greatly thankful for the opportunity to bring my pet as well ! Overall I enjoyed my stay.

Recent stay to visit Doylestown, Peddlers Village, Mercer Castle. Location was great and very close to shopping and restaurants. Hotel could use some attention. The hallway outside our room on fourth floor was over 100 degrees. The room itself was spacious but shower was dirty, dishwasher was not installed and falling out of its space. Breakfast was free but eggs were cold and area was a mess. The pool, which they say was just serviced, was cloudy and had shock treatment crystals spilled around the edges causing our clothing to get bleached out and ruined when we sat on the edge of the pool. Staff did not seem to care. I would stay here again due to the location but only after some maintenance and upgrades to the hotel.

Small detail but there wasn't a good full selection of cable TV channels, that one would normally view (eg. FOOD NETWORK, HGTV, and several more.)

Our room was supposed to have a pull out sleeper sofa and only had a couch. When we called to the front desk they said they’d look into it and call back. No one ever called back. My mother in law ended up sleeping on the floor due to uncomfortable couch. When we talked to front desk in the morning, they said there was no one available to talk to and no one to call.

Water was turned for 12 hours when I first arrived, issues with the TV on 2 different occasions

Liked the 2 bedroom and 2 bath in one bedroom so each person could have their space. With the exception of bedding and towels, the room was incredibly run down and dirty/dusty. I only took some photos of my bathroom but I should have taken more. Pull out couch and bar chairs where completely shredded, dust caked up on all the light fixture shades, drawers in bedroom were all broken, sticky stains on carpet and my room had a tissue wadded up in the wall.
