Absolutely beautiful and charming grounds with ample parking. Historic and pretty buildings. The indoor/outdoor restaurant is just lovely. Enjoyable evening entertainment in the restaurant area when we were there on a Friday evening. Nice breakfast. Staff is helpful and friendly.

Staff were all very nice and the food was very good. Highly recommend staying here!

We had an amazing stay- parking was great, rooms comfy and staff friendly.

This was one of the cutest places we ever stayed. The old home was so different from your typical hotel. The staff were all so friendly and the property was gorgeous. We sat out on the covered porch after we walked on the trail at the 202 bypass. So convenient for a quick workout before starting our day.

The property is beautiful and the grounds are just lovely. The rooms are tired and need an over haul. It will be stunning once they renovate the rooms.

A*!

Absolutely love our stay.

Definitely a step down from previous experiences. Dated rooms. Understaffed. Terrible breakfast to go. Disappointed. Plenty of better options in the area.

The room was fine, except there are no individual climate controls, grateful for the extra blanket since the AC was cold. Breakfast is "grab and go," but by the time I got to reception, there wasn't much to "grab." Please do check your reservation carefully if you book through a third party. We had booked three rooms, and only one was reserved. Also please be careful about billing. Even though they said there was only one reservation, they put two rooms on my credit card. Which was it - only one room reserved or two for billing purposes? Just be careful when reserving here.

Pretty and clean.

Quiet and lovely evenings at the restaurant with great food

Ac made alot of noise and the particular room we stayed in needs upgrades (paint, bathro9m, etc)

It had an different century flair to it hust very comfortable! Excellent stagf!

Very charming and historical spot. Bathrooms were very small. Heat wave was on when we were there and AC was struggling. Disappointing they were not more obvious re housekeeping on demand.
-
Beautiful property. We were upgraded to an executive suite! Restaurant had limited hours and seemed to be closed more than open, maybe because it was July 4th weekend and extremely hot. Not enough hot water for showers- Luke warm at most.

The property and historic buildings are beautiful, and we appreciate their charm. However, historic character shouldn't come at the expense of basic modern conveniences. In today's world, guests rely on cell phones and other devices, yet the electrical outlets in both rooms were so worn out they wouldn't hold a plug. Our original room also had a slow-draining bathroom sink and peeling paint on the bathroom ceiling. We overlooked these issues until the air conditioning completely failed after a long day of sightseeing. The hotel temporarily repaired it with a replacement fuse, but it failed again the following night. After another exhausting day touring Philadelphia, we didn't get moved to another room until nearly 2:00 a.m., forcing us to pack and relocate in the middle of the night. Unfortunately, the replacement room had the same worn-out electrical outlets. The staff was courteous and did their best to help. My frustration is with management for renting rooms with obvious maintenance problems. Functioning air conditioning, usable electrical outlets, working plumbing, and properly maintained rooms are basic expectations. While the grounds are lovely, the guest rooms fell far below expectations. Considering the premium rates charged, we expected a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained room. Sadly, that was not the experience we had. We cannot recommend this property for a stay of any length

Room needs updates. Bad plumbing, room smelled like mild dew furniture worn out.

Nothing

Office breakfast 6/4/26 was not a regular breakfast as expected. Self service hot breakfast buffet style was missing and our expectation.

Very comfortable accommodations in very nice old estate setting Fine for us, but you could have e a bit of a walk to your room or building.
