Sheraton Detroit Novi Hotel

It took us almost 4 hours to get a room even with a reservation! They blamed it on short staff and the power outage! I really felt bad for the 2 front desk clerks cause it was out of their control but management should've came out and handled the angry customers instead of throwing them in the fire!

Everything especially the clean room.

From check in to check out, everyone was kind, professional and friendly, I am impressed, the room was adorable and the bed was very comfortable, most hotel beds make my husband's back hurt, this one did not, we slept very well! We also had dinner at the restaurant, the food was excellent, this was a good stay! I recommend! There was an event, our party was there first, but no one told us to get in line, there was some favoritism, but that had nothing to do with the hotel.

The staff was absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

For a last minute stay, this was the best option! The staff was very helpful, hotel was SUPER NICE for its pricing, I would definitely book here again!

Wedding party going early in morning could not sleep called front desk they said they had paid to have the wedding party it was nothing they could do but I paid money to also be there and get rest.

Everyone was super accomodating and staff was nice and respectable! Nothing I didn't like!

The power went out the second night of my stay - meaning on an 85 degree day there was not air conditioning and no elevators. I arrived back to the hotel around 10:30 pm from a long day of sitting outside and walking as it was my nephews graduation. My room unfortunately was on the 6th floor - SO I said to the front desk, “if I walk up 6 flights of stairs with these 3 bags, my key is going to work right?” they said “oh yes the key has nothing to do with the power outage that is on a different system” Okay so I walk up the 6 flights of stairs and of course my key does NOT work SO I could not leave my bags, I had to walk down the 6 fights of stairs and let them know my key did not work. So the front desk worker was like “I am going to perform a superman I’ll be back” He came back down and went in the back after a couple minutes I looked back there and I was like "so did you get my key to work or what?” And he said “yes I have your door propped open you better get up there before someone goes into your room” I am like "excuse me…” So he did not offer to take my bags upstairs for me so here I go again up 6 flights of stairs only to find my room was warm and the whole reason I was staying at a hotel at all was because my father’s air conditioning was out that weekend and I cannot sleep or get ready in that heat so now here I am in the same situation. It is not the hotels fault that the power was out but it is about how they handled the situation and I was not cared for as a guest.

Room was clean, staff was friendly. Easy check in. Would definitely stay again.

So lost power walking up 3 flights of stairs they could have covered the new parking fee 10 dollars a day not happy 3 huge lots in suburbs should not be charged no lights in parking lot while we were there don’t think I will stay there again after this not happy at all.

Rooms were clean and upgraded, bar was nice and staff was knowledgeable

I was on the sixth floor so walking up six flights of stairs repeatedly wasn’t the best.

The space is really nice, the staff were great and doing what they could do. The rooms were fairly clean and everything was very welcoming when we arrived. We were here for an event and there were a lot of things that went wrong. Some of which were in control of the hotel but most weren't. It started by me booking a double room with two beds and getting a king size bed with a pull out. This wasn't a big deal however everything after that kinda spiraled to make the trip not so great. The big thing is the power went out for 5+ hours our 2nd night and it was really hard to sleep in our hot room. Someone that was part of the event but not part of my group had to sleep on the couch in the lobby due to mobility issues because they couldn't reach their room on a higher level due to the elevator being out. It's sad that he wasn't able to be accommodated in a better manner. There were no offers of any refund, apologies, or extra accommodations that we had to endure this happening when I checked out. The room holding us for the event was incredibly hot and humid and it was fairly clear the AC wasn't able to handle that many humans in one space. Being tired, hot, and cranky made the event not fun and I don't think I would attend another at this location. On top of this I carpooled with 3 others and the 4 of us had 3 rooms and each of us got charged a parking fee when we only had one car.

Me hostess en este hotel y lo recomiendo mucho, la gente es muy amable y personal muy servicial. El hotel es lindo, hacen limpieza todos Los Dias, tiene gimnasio, piscina y parque alrededor para caminar. Lo recomiendo. Volvere!!!

Clean room and good food options around

Rooms are big, very clean, and modern. The pool is heated and very clean. Overall Excellent experience
