Hilton Chicago/Oak Brook Suites

The place is simply old dirty and outdated.. The rug and furniture in the room was stained and I didn’t even want to touch the couch. I checked in and checked out immediately and went to another hotel near by.

Otherwise the staff were very kind and friendly and most of the property was clean and tidy.

The room was overall lacking some attention. Wallpaper peeling off, curtains were stained and stuck together, furniture is old and worn. The pull out bed in the sofa was yellow and dingy. Overall did not feel the cleanest. The rooms were spacious and the amenities were good. Would not stay here again unless the hotel got an upgrade

The location was excellent! Very close to mercury theater. The slot machines were a pleasant surprise.

Comfortable bed, clean room, big windows, extra large bathroom with hair and bath supplies. Sofa bed was awful to sleep on. Lowest quality bedding and no padding, and mattress is thin. Very disappointing and not worth returning here for us. We counted on the sofa bed to be slept on. Most hotels have sofa beds w/great padding and nice linen, but this was not good.

How close I was located to it. Everything. It was dirty and unsafe. My room was still visibly dirty from a party that happened before. There were dirty footprints on the chairs, glitter all over the couch, big red stain on the carpet. But most concerning was a broken balcony door. That made me feel completely unsafe, and I was traveling with a child.

The location was what attracted me. I needed something close to the Drury Lane Theater venue. The hotel was great, rooms were spacious and clean, the staff were friendly. Only warning if you uber to the hotel- there are two with very close names. You want the Oakbrook suites and NOT the oakbrook resort. Both owned by Hilton and caused confusion. I ended up having to take two uber rides because I wasn’t paying attention.

Staff were great. Rooms are outdated and could’ve been cleaner. Teens were loitering around the pool and gym so we avoided those areas. They weren’t swimming or working out so no need to be there just to be loud. Lobby was nice but fountains were empty which made it look dumpy.

Staff was friendly. I wish their restaurant stayed open past 9pm

The pool looked dirty, hot tub not working. Overall very noisy with guest up and down the elevator after 10pm.

I love the spaciousness of the hotel suites I wanted to have connecting rooms. I made this request a few different times and was promised to get this and once I arrived it was on 2 different floors.
