I guess I should expect this with Chicago. But read the fine print on your reservation before you book it. There’s a charge for everything. Parking overnight. Spacious lot no reason to charge for it. Breakfast is even expensive for what it is. Oh well, beware.
-
Charging for parking is sneaky and unclear. Just put the charge upfront in the nightly fee. Be honest!

Nice rooms and friendly staff
-
Staff was great but hotel had areas that look run down, esp in the front areas. Paid for parking but had to park in side garage because of events at theater meant spaces closer to hotel was taken.
-
Under construction. Mattresses were new and rooms will be very nice once completed. Wi fi and breakfast were not included. Also $8 parking fee when there were plenty of parking available.

The pool is VERY small and has more than plenty of chlorine. They do not clean your rooms during your stay or restock towels. You have to go down and get them from the front desk. The "bar" and restaurant are a total joke. It's just a half ass set up in the lobby and it's only open sometimes. The hotel is fairly clean and I felt safe staying there with my son. The beds are pretty firm.

Most everything Little pricey

The staff is amazing There were kids running around the halls all Hours

Hotels are very clean. Staff was helpful and patient. The problem is the hotel.com did not pay the property, when I got there it took more than 45 minutes to check in. We were very frustrated, we need rest after the long day and it almost midnight.
-
The in room coffee. 1) the hotel was way too cold, wasting energy — the temperature in the hall was around 65 and our room at check-in was set at 68 — again, way too cold! We set it at 72 and that was perfectly comfortable; 3) the hotel exterior grounds are in poor condition, reflecting substantial neglect!

The staff was helpful. I had a speedy check in. The rooms were super clean and comfortable. I'm a germ-a-phobe, so that says alot lol. You can't go wrong with a Hilton stay. Can't wait to return!

Pay to park / pay for breakfast
-
The accessibility from the highways The bathroom ceiling pealing from the steam of the shower. Having to pay for breakfast and parking.
-
The pool area wasn't appealing. Room appeared to be clean. Staff was very friendly!

Breakfast was ok, The lady who overseen the area was nice and attentive.

There was an issue with the front door is not ADA compliant. If you’re pushing someone with a wheelchair, you have to manually open the door and try and get that wheelchair through yourself. The only other option is a revolving door, which was impossible to maneuver. Ice machines on the first floor and third floor were not working. You have to pay for parking if you’re staying there. The breakfast is not included. You have to pay for that and you’d be much better off going and finding a restaurant that’s close by cause the food was not that good. Don’t know if I would stay here again.

It was nice

My reservation was cancelled without any warning whatsoever.

We had a show to see at Drury Theater next door. 1 minute walk across the parking lot. Super convenient for the show. That’s the reason we stayed here.
