Very welcoming. Other guests and the host were awesome. Clean. Stunning art. Very Oakland. Great value. Beautiful garden and outdoor space. Super convenient and close to BART, busses, and walking paths. Lovely neighborhood. Great coffee. I felt right at home! If supporting small local businesses is important to you, this is the perfect place :) I'm sensitive to noise, and it there was quite a bit of noise coming from my room's ceiling. I slept poorly the first two nights and then stopped by CVS to pick up some very good silicone earplugs, and that really helped. Highly recommend earplugs if you're a light sleeper. It's an older house so footfalls, creaks, and voices travel.

I had an exceedingly relaxing and cozy stay at B-Love’s guest house! Just a 10 minute walk from the BART. Along the way you pass beautiful murals of the women of the Black Panther Party. Attached to the guest house is a tranquil garden with another beautiful mural, a hammock, various plants, and even a stage! Traci’s phenomenal photography is displayed all around the house giving it a nostalgic vibe. The bedrooms are a nice size if you’re on a solo or couples trip. Traci was super accommodating. Any questions I had, she was one call away. Would definitely stay again!

As soon as you step on to the property, it has a super welcoming and aestheticly pleasing energy. This is consistent throughout the whole property. As soon as I walked in there's is a community area with art work and trophies on display. The photography really catches your eye and gives you an authentic and aesthetic feel for oakland back in the day! I also like that this had a cumminity kitchen area which was fully furnished, and clean.ready to be used to cook. The kitchen area also has an array of different photos on display that catch your attention and will accompany you as you cook. The refrigerator and sink were clean as well. One of the best amenities that B-loves offers is the backyard and garden. This offers a whole different type of vibe and energy. Very welcoming,comforting and relaxing to just be in the backyard with the selection of plants,there's a stage/workout area,BBQ, fruit trees, and vegetables growing in the garden. Paired with that the backyard gets an amazing amount of sunlight and heat from the sun light. Enough for you to sun bathe... maybe even get a tan? I found myself relaxing in the backyard for hours more than my room! Overall an awesome stay. Love the host and assistant property manager. Their are positive people which reflects on the business. I would recommend. Come visit!

The place was a nice place to rest in.

What a wonderful place! I arrived after hours without having confirmed my booking with Traci (my mistake), and was very moved by her hospitality and help at such a late hour. Not only was the property well-maintained and clean, but it truly felt like a home away from home. The garden provided an amazing escape from the city and Traci was always incredibly generous and thoughtful. I will certainly stay here again!
