Residence Inn by Marriott Oakland Downtown

Breakfast was OKAY. Though it meets everybody's needs, it was kinda predictable and rather "Unexciting" after 4 days stay. I love the biscuits, though. And the Orange juice, Swiss Miss, Nutella, Honey, strawberry jam, etc. Scrambled egg was kinda dry and lumpy. Though hard-boiled eggs are available, I would have loved soft-boiled eggs since it's my daily breakfast diet.

It’s a great location. The public transport is a walk away I had asked more than once for extra pillows and blankets. I never received them. The property only does housekeeping if you’re staying for 3 nights.

Exceptional

Clean room comfortable bed, fridge and kitchen facilities. Valet staff lovely and very helpful. The 2 ladies on the reception were also friendly and helpful. One man on reception ignored me and didn't really want to help just grunted at me. The area around the hotel questionable . The trip to SRO airport in the morning was horrendous.

Nicely located, big suites, fully equipped kitchen in the room Breakfast is very basic

The outside of the property is very unsafe, but reviews are saying it’s safe, which is lie. Breakfast was joke, I don’t know how much they are charging for it, but in our case it was waste of money There is no walking around area due to high crime in the area

Superb

Superb

The room was clean, nice space. The elevator smelled like urine, which was very unpleasant. The staff also never responded to any of the messages sent through Expedia after the booking was made. Even after checked in and made several requests in person, the front desk staff repeatedly brushed me off and told me to come back later or next day. This happened throughout our entire two-day stay, and our concerns were not properly addressed.

The room and the hotel is very clean and the director Mr Joseph is a special person. Really appreciated everything, I strongly suggest the hotel as it is close to the BART and very comfortable. Thanks nothing

Superb

Good

check in agent was nice and friendly. Good room on 10F Location and facility Bathroom floor can be more clean there was curly hair left

The continental breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly. I wish there was something like a paper cup in the bathroom to rinse my mouth after brushing my teeth.

Cleanliness and friendly staff.

Was super cute and clean!

Excellent experience every time we stay here. Amazing breakfast!!

Exceptional

Clean, handy location despite some concerns about the safety of the neighborhood.

The Appartament was functional and clean and the location was perfect! The breakfast closed at 9 super sharp and even the coffee was gone … it’s a shame: a bit more flexibility and longer hours would give a huge benefit.
