I don’t like the location.

The chief lesson I learned was, if I find myself at a place that is at all questionable, I will ask to see see the room before I pull out my credit card.

Terrible area (homeless and prostitutes in the corners) Comfortable bed and big TV But no shampoo or conditioner

Excellent all around will be coming back here later in a year

The motel staff was rude and kept my cash deposit of $50 . He was admitted about the cash deposit and during check out I wa more concerned about missing my uber than the deposit . It’s very loud at night

Other than the location I really like this place. Bring ear plugs and it should be fine.

For budget prices, I expect a budget hotel, and this place delivered quality for the price I paid. The location is sketchy and felt somewhat unsafe; the alley behind the hotel is filled with trash and debris. However the hotel room itself had plenty of space and basic amenities that met all needs for a single night stay. The bed was quite comfortable, though the pillows were hard and flat (glad I brought my own from home). The room's cleanliness was up to standard. I appreciated the in-room microwave and refrigerator. Value for dollar, Continental Lodge wins, in spite of its location.

The worst thing was the location, prostitutes working the block outside and smashed windows on cars parked in the parking lot and around the street, and loud music until 3am, made us feel uncomfortable!! But the service was excellent, property felt secure, and it was a nice room for the money with a decent location.

Awesome close in hotel near downtown. Super clean facilities.

Cozy little place. Convenient to get to. Bed was comfy. Bathroom was functional. Location is conveniently near the bus stops so easy alternatives to getting around town without having to drive. Management was friendly during check in/out. Fridge/freezer is a bit of an old style but works well enough. Kept drinks cool, but did pool with condensation around the drinks (didn't leak from the fridge at least) Good stay for what you pay. Area seems a bit sketch but nothing bad happened during my stay but can make one feel a little nervous. Floor was a bit dirty since my feet got dark with dirt after walking around a bit barefoot.

Great small hotel close to downtown Oakland. Very clean rooms. Very fast WiFi.
