Motel 6 Oakland, CA - Embarcadero

They have a sign at the check in window that says “absolutely no guest who are not staying in the room are allowed in the room and if found you will be asked to leave immediately and there will be no refund” not only that the rooms were “smoke free” and when I walked in the room it smelled like a cigar lounge so I asked for another room they said they were fully booked so I had to make sure they put down it smelled that way already so I don’t get charged the smoking fee and other than the crackhead washing her puss right outside the view is nice

Beautiful location on the water of bay area Oakland and San Francisco Bay waters crew club area

The location is convenient and the waterfront is nice but the rooms were gross. There were random stains in the sheets, hair in the bathtub, the fridge was stinky and the microwave e was crusty. To top it off I found a drop of blood on the floor by the bed. The price is good but you get what you pay for

Rooms were clean, staff was great. Only issue o had was one of tbe Rooms I rented TV didn't work at all, They couldn't change us Rooms until the next day at 3 pm, which inconvenienced our trip. To not have a functioning TV with 2 year old twins, and a 5 year old was horrible. The bathroom plugs didn't work either. I've been coming here for years, since before Uber or lyft was a thing, the manager was supposed to come in and give me a refund or practical refund, but never showed up. Then on top of that, ice machine also were down. I k ow its a motel 6, but come on, its a business that requires certain amenities. Its has a beautiful scenery, location isn't convenient fo store runs or fast food, but to wake up buy the water makes up for it.

Not really to clean could be a nice property but need to clean it up

The room had an unpleasant smell, the A/C vent was very dirty, and the mattress was lumpy and hard; the receptionist was very friendly, but the condition of the hotel leaves much to be desired.

right on the water, its such a lovely neighborhood feel. room was extremely clean, its everything you need, typical renovated motel 6. thanks yall! till next time! wsmfp!!!

No ice, tv looks like it was torn off the wall. Sheets. Pillowcases and towels were stained and it does not feel like a safe location.

A terrible smell of nicotine, even in the non-smoking bedroom. Inappropriate noises for a family.

Next to the river or bay slept peacefully with no noise or ruckus the peer was behind the motel and could fish

Useless hotel

Our air-conditioner was not working. My husband went to front desk within 10 minutes maintenance came chatted with us. They the proceed to fix it immediately. It was wonderful they did since it warmed up the weekend we were there. Overall a good stay.

Poor property bad staff and room not properly maintained

We received towels every two days and no bed linen changed the entire week. Had to pay an extra fee for microwave and refrigerator use after paying an expensive bill for the room. The service was terrible. The parking was accessible.

Very dirty and not safty to park there i don’t know why they are doing this and still opining

The pier the deck the sun All of it the rooms were pricy rooms were not that clean covers suck really light with stains on it looks like there cheap with the soap pillow were very small sucks towels looks like they need care love no microwave no refrigerator no phone air conditioner sucks you need all these things in your room that why I'm paying good money for the room with micro coffee maker no fridge no phone in case of emergency and I asked were in the world are the amenities that are important in this room the lady said they were all booked and that I got the last I was like that makes no sense so I have to pay extra to get my anemties that should be in the room so I have to pay more I said no way trust me it's the last time I would ever stay there again the price is not worth it for the bed the room service the towels please don't stay there and give them your money trust me go elsewhere.and to top that the ice machine was down no vending machine no laundry area the pool look like it had algi so cheap no ice machine because it was broken no man because there cheap for as much as they charge for a room they should be able to have ice machine working and much more

Not so good.

If you like the price then don’t complain about the condition of the property, the dogs barking in other rooms or people talking outside your door late into the night. Other wise, it’s a clean simple room with run down built ins, and a clean bathroom. Ask for second floor water front for a more quiet stay. Inspite if these comments I continue to go back for tne price and location works Igor me.
