Executive Inn & Suites Embarcadero Cove

There was a cockroach in the bathroom, and the towels were dirty. The front desk also entered my name incorrectly on the reservation. When I checked out, they repeatedly told me that my room number belonged to another guest and could not resolve the issue for nearly an hour, which significantly delayed me and wasted my time.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the jacuzzi and the views of the water. The breakfast area had a great view of the water. It was a good value for the price we paid. Earplugs were provided, but the freeway noise was noticeable. Next time we will get a room facing the water. There was a crying baby that we could hear inside the room as well.

Breakfast was mediocre. Powdered eggs(yuck!) and sausage. Waffle maker was nice but only one machine worked. Oatmeal was cold. Coffee was not good. Fresh fruit was available. Parking was $17 for non-gated, non-secured spot. Did not use the restaurant/bar.

Its on the bay. Watching the boats and sculling is great… 5 minutes to DT Oakland, 2 minutes to freeway… perfect location!.

This was my 1st time at the Executive Inn and it was more than I expected. The decor was nice. My room was clean and the decor was a beautiful design. It has dining, breakfast and bar. The rates were reasonable. It's a great place to stay.

Everything was great! I ate at the restaurant and the drinks were amazing!

We had a wonderful stay that exceeded our expectations- this will now be our go-to place when we come to Oakland. The staff totally styled us out and were so friendly. Great people and great property with beautiful views!

This is great place to stay. It is full of those "special touches" throughout the property. From the comfy beds, to the great bath/shower products to use and one great breakfast! The value at this hotel is hard to miss. Great location on the water and friendly friendly staff. Great in room TV and refrigerator etc. I have stayed here once and forgot to leave a review. So I stayed a second time to see if it was just one off great stay. NOPE! This place deserves to be considered and stayed at when you are looking for a place to stay. The price is competitive as well. WILL BE STAYING MANY MORE TIMES.

This hotel is very, very outdated. When we got to our room it had a very very strong smell, being an asthmatic I can’t be around strong scents. I went to the front desk to get another room. It’s wasn’t a little better but the smell was still lingering. The rooms are very outdated. The shower has half a door never saw that before on a shower. Floor got slippery. Bar soap was available. Most hotels have body wash in the shower. Carpets very, very dirty. Bathroom door was broken at the bottom. The tv was very small I guess a 32 inch maybe?? They need to Seriously Update and care for this hotel. I wouldn’t recommend until they improve the look, the rooms and the comfort level. $17 to park was pretty crazy….
