Commander Beach House Hotel

They charged for parking. That’s something that should be informed when booking a stay. Staff looked scared when they had to informed me I had to pay for parking. The parking was very small parking stops I had to park across the street from where I was staying in order to make sure my car wasn’t going to get him by another car. I also had to pay another 20 fee incase there was some damage to the room. There was no elevator where I stayed. My room was very clean but the hallway had trash bags with trash and dirty towels on the floor. Air Conditioners was very very loud every time it turned on it maid a loud very loud sound jump scared you from a deep sleep.

I won't be returning to this hotel. The room didn't even have a window that we could look out. The air conditioner was very loud, too. The floors were covered in sand from previous occupants and one of the beds had sand in the sheets before the bed was used. We love Ocean City but this trip wasn't a favorite.

even though the room was on the smaller side, it was perfect for our over night stay. We were able to use our own streaming service on the tv, which was pretty cool. Property was nice, clean and presentable. Staff was very friendly and even let us check in a little before check in time. Would stay here again!

Parking was horribly tight, room and bathroom were very small. Overall pretty clean. We had outside door entrance, no lighting, very difficult to see at night especially if raining. Walls super thin. Unfortunately had a joint door to the room next door. Could hear everything, sadly they were extremely loud, could smell the extra curricular activities they took part in. Cute place, close to the beach, but most likely won’t stay there again. Sadly a bit disappointed.

Didn't like that you have to pay a daily parking fee on top of your room rate. We stayed at the commander beach house across the street. Too much card swiping to enter before your room. Should offer at least coffee in lobby area, its a wasted space. Or put table and chairs inside space to play gamesvor something. It was ok, won't stay there again. Had better options. Only one smoke butt can available. Not enough. More small tables out on porch with chairs needed Alot of wasted space Continuous wet mopping lobby and hall way floors not needed They were always mopping when it wasn't dirty at all hours. Nice size bathroom Roo a little small but ok Very average

Excellent location, the pool was nice. Staff was very friendly and attentive. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment. It was not very clean, the floors were black. Stove and kitchen area were not the cleanest. They do not provide you with something to wash the dishes or dry them with. Beds were not the best could feel springs. Definitely not a terrible stay I would stay again but I do feel they should clean better.

beach house, 3rd floor rooms are very small for families. no house keeping for 2 nights stay. Great location, pool is awesome for kids.

The pool was freezing but the room is were we had issues … our AC didn’t work and they didn’t switch our rooms 3 females in a room on 86 degree days .. yea not fun

A/C rocked! Tiny room, but we're at the beach!! Fridge was cold,shower was hot & bed was comphy enough. Excellent location. 3 blocks to the Reel Inn & a taco joint next door along with other restaurants close by. The price for 4 nights was reasonable as well.

Also... Expedia makes it sound like parking is included. That is NOT the case. We had to pay for parking, over $20 a day. Was not happy about this at all.

Place was ok walls were thin could hear neighbors more then usual

We love staying here for the White Marlin Open each year. It’s the perfect location to spend the day on the beach and then walk over to the scales to see all of the action!

Room was dirty TV in living room did not work furniture stained no electricity in bathroom hallway light shines bright into room needs at least fans for main Bedroom. Just not worth what I was charged for this property.

I stayed the july 31st til Aug.2nd the location was great .The room was great the only thing that pissed me off was the whole stay the tv didnt work because the wifi is not strong enough to reach that building room 220 so beware and if l didnt say nothing about the charge they would not have given me back 100 bucks.But overall a good stay air works very well .Yes l would stay again but not in that building

I have stayed at the hotel with no issues. But the beach house we will not be staying at again. The lights did not work in the bathroom, nor did the vent. The lights also did not work in 1 bedroom. The back bedroom with the king bed had no air flow, it was extremely stuffy. There was no hair dryer. There also was no direction in the hotel of how to get to rooms. The hotel is great, we had no issues at a previous stay.

The price changed at arrival, additional I spend $182 for just parking and the parking was terrible, had to park at this parking lot that was not visible from hotel. People did not know how to park, there was not much room to park and 2 to 3 cars take 2 parking spaces. Report to the office but nothing was done. The prices on the website were not conclusive, difference prices and besides after you commit , there was no alternative to get reimbursed for your money . Then I paid insurance to keep the reservation but it was costly. My wife and I were very disappointed with the place set up, for the price we paid , we expect more. Also tv only had 5 channels, it sucks. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Our room (upstairs in the dar blue building across the street) was super small. It was ok for one night but would not want to spend a weeklong vacation there!!
