Location was great, and pool was great, large with plenty of available seating. Room was good size for 4. Truly ADA accessible, unlike some of the other ADA rooms we've stayed in other hotels. No carpet, plenty of space for wheelchair in-between beds, and space for wheelchair in the TV/living area. Balcony was a very nice size with good view of ocean. There was no hot water the whole time we were there. Staff was aware and working on the issue, but it did affect our stay.

The staff were phenomenal Mold on ceilings. Bathroom doors wouldn’t fully close. Air conditioners were locked at 68 and didn’t kick on regularly. Had to pay for parking.

Great location

The location is right at the board walk is very convenient. There is no hot or warm water in the hotel, and my entire family of four is unable to take a shower because the water is freezing cold. We checked in around 7:00 PM. What is especially frustrating is that the staff did not inform us before or at check-in that there was a problem with the hot water system. About 20 minutes after checking in, I went downstairs to report the issue, and the only response I received was, “Sorry, the whole building is like that.” We are paying over $500 for one night, and it is completely unacceptable to have no hot water for a basic necessity like taking a shower. My mother and my wife have seawater in their hair and have been unable to shower because the water is ice cold. What makes this situation even more disappointing is that it appears the hotel knew about the problem before we checked in but chose not to inform us. Had we been told about the issue beforehand, we could have made a different decision about staying here. I am extremely disappointed with how this situation was handled and expect the hotel to provide an appropriate resolution, including consideration of a refund or significant compensation for the inconvenience.

We had an oceanfront room with am amazing view. Rooms are well maintained compared to a lot of other places in the area. The staff were some of the best I've encountered at OCMD. The outdoor pool was nice as well. We would definitely book here again.

Location right on the boardwalk and beach Not clean, no hot water for two and a half days. Random brush left with hair all over it. Didn't clean the room before we got there or during our stay. We had to ask for more TP. Bed was so old there were two big indentions where people sleep.

From the front desk to the room, our last minute overnight stay was a good experience. We had the perfact view of the ocean from the 7th floor such that we could watch the dolphins swim. I have been to other spots on the boardwalk but this is by far my favorite and will definitely book again. The restaurant attached to the hotel is also a reason to stay. The food is fresh and delicious.

The staff was really nice and the location is great. The suite rooms feel like they are set up backward. The bedroom area is very narrow. The AC until is in the sitting area instead of the bedroom area. They also feel a bit dated. The pool area was great with a nice mid size pool. The balcony ocean view was nice. Our room was never cleaned but that could be our fault as we had people sleeping in the morning when they came around. We managed to get get towels and garbage bags from the staff but the floor in the room was gross. Even before we got sand on it. My kids socks were black after the first day. The biggest problem is that we did not have hot water for almost our entire stay. It came back on 12 hours before we checked out. The shower was ICE cold. Anytime we asked about it we were just told “we don’t have a timeline yet”. It was extremely uncomfortable to try to shower.

The Commander is a very nice hotel and is located perfectly! The rooms are clean and comfortable, however we had no hot water for a couple of days and the hotel offered nothing.

Parking was an issue. You’ll have to park at a parking garage. The queen bunkbed are in the closet with no vents. Property was clean and comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay

Good stay. We have stayed here before and would come back again. Only problem we had no hot water during most of our stay.

I liked looking out over the pool and it was a great room , plenty of room for everyone and very close to the beach . I would definitely stay here again. And I recommend this Suite to all of my friends Pool should stay open longer in the evening so that we could enjoy it after we enjoyed the beach all day
