Extended Stay America Suites San Diego Oceanside

The room was looked clean but I found hair on the sheets. We asked for a non smoking room and it smelled so bad. The fire extinguisher where cover. We left the hotel with in 45 minutes from arrival.

What is unique about this ESA property is its location.

Clean room but no dishes or amenities. Elevator was broken and we had to walk three flights of stairs

Elevator did not work, Room was dusty. Restrooom was dusty in shower.

Next door at 1am. When called front desk no one answered ! Plus there was someone sawing doing repairs at 5 am. Can't make this up& Didnt sleep bed was horrible. Didnt even take a shower in the morning as I was so grossed out I couldn't wait to get out of there. Cancelled the rest of trip. No lie worst hotel experience of my like. This place made the Schitts creek motel look like the ritz. Sorry never never wrote something like this but is was real! The woman at front seat was nice and the only positive about this stay. This place gets a -0!

It was weird to have to request normal amenities from the front desk. Shampoo (and don’t forget to say “and conditioner” if you want both), a blow dryer, coffee pot. Why advertise a full kitchen when you can’t use it without getting dishes and utensils from the front desk?

Now, whether that matters or not is up to you. The carpets are so digress that to have my toy poodle sleep upon nor my Grand Children Visit, I’d be frightened they’d capture a contagion made manifest in certain death. Mind you, this is a review. And I truly believe that we need to do better. Elitist Overconfident Attitudes

Our room smelled like food when we walked in, it looked like they might have been trying to air it out because the windows were open. There was weird hair stuck to the bathroom ceiling. The bedsheets had a bad smell, thankfully we brought our own. It was just an uncomfortable experience, thankfully we were only there for a couple of hours.

The location. That the photos were extremely misleading. The property misrepresented almost everything.

Horrible service. Carpet felt dirty we couldn’t even walk with out shoes. And the breakfast was packaged muffins.

The location is very good. Close to the freeway. Has lots of amenities around it. The area is safe. The facility is old and needs remodeling. Or, at the very least, updating. For a short-stay hotel, it has no amenities in the rooms. No glasses. No plates, utensils, pots, or anything that you can use for a 2-4 day stay. You have to bring everything. There is no shampoo or liquid soap in the room. The AC is noisy and not very cool (although it is sufficient for the San Diego weather). There is no ice machine anywhere (I was told to make my own ice using the ice cube trays in my room). And no real breakfast to speak of.

Room was good parking was good and area was convenient Breakfast is more of a snack bar and my keycard was never working had to get it reset everyday

There’s nothing to like Room floor was so dirty , couldn’t even relax they really need to fix the doors locked . Breakfast is just oatmeal packaged never again

it’s clean and quiet, customer service is great there’s no shampoo and conditioner

The location was good There were bugs. There was only one trash can, no silver ware or cups, or napkins. The tub dropped all night. There was no coffee maker. The bed was old and dipped in the middle.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly This was the first Extended Stay property I visited that did not have dishes in the kitchen. Also, the bath towels had stains.

Location was great, minimum amenities were good too. The place was a bit dated, compared to other ESA locations.
