Carlsbad Village Inn

The location was good but the place wasn't comfortable. Place was not clean on time after checking in and room heater wasn't working. Room only had one set of towels for 2 guest not exceptible. And had to change rooms and bathroom door couldn't close all the way and room was not clean then again only one set of towels for 2 quests.

No breakfast beds were uncomfortable but have stayed before but this stay I had a horrible location by the maids work room which was nonstop noise and couldn’t sleep for all the noise not necessary the staff Loud

It's not too far to the beach Didn't even spent the night there

Location First room I checked inn was full of cockroaches!!! Burned floor broke wall, and door , second room I try to get inn had stain on a bed cower pretty large size like an oil stain , pouch of black hair in a bathtub!! And blood stain on a white shits !!!

Dirty, noisy , cockroaches Cockroaches... everything was terrible

Nothing it was absolutely disgusting. The front desk person sent us to the wrong room and we walked into someone else’s room with their luggage in it. We had to go back to the front desk and wait another 30 mins for a room correction. There were dead bugs in our room mashed into the bedspread. A huge spider crawled out from under the pillows on the bed. Every place where the walls met the floor was dirty and had cracks and holes everywhere. No toiletries except a single bar of soap. The floor wasn’t even swept and had dirt everywhere.

Interior was clean and comfortable Exterior looked like a dive motel.

Couldn't even have a cup of tea in the evening.

THE HOUSEKEEPER WHO GAVE ME A MINI CAN OF LYSOL FOR THE ROOM BECAUSE IT SMELLED LIKE A STALE CIGAR ! THE FRONT DESK STAFF IS RACIST AND RUDE. !

Bathroom was old looking, paint peeling in some areas and rust was showing on the metal parts. The worst of all was the putrid stink of "wet dog" smell, I wasn't able to sleep properly if I sleep at all. If it wasn't because I got there at 1 AM I would've just go to another hotel or at least demand to be assigned a different room. Too tired to argue and I needed all the rest I could have.

It was clean and quite. Paid online but then when got there had to put a $100 security for overnight. Not keen on that.

Susie is an amazing and very professional employee. She handles alot of challenging people at one time with extreme grace and patience. I was always blessed to see her at the front desk. The motel is very lucky to have her!!!.

Close to everything Needed a fridge. But no problem

The employees at the front desk were so professional and efficient, kind and patient.

That it was close to our event. the unprofessional treatment! And the man that woke us up !! yelling and stomping, up and down the upper walkway by our window. Very disturbing! We checked in super late and we were not able to sleep. we were charged a 2 hour late fee. The young girl that was working in the office was very cold and did not want to accommodate us in any way. In 2025 we will be need two rooms every week for one night. We are starting a weekly event. As this last one was a great success. we hope to find a location that will accommodate our company and that we will have a comfortable experience.
